According to part 4 of the history of the elves Dalish elves “tattoo the symbols of our gods on our faces.” Given that is there any kind of translation that would indicate what each of the Dalish tattoo’s "mean?"
Thanks in advance!
Is there a Dalish tatto to god decorder ring?

Unfortunately no, I don't even know if those tattoos do translate into something, given that they are optional. Maybe a dev will be nice enough to tell us.

Want to know the truth?
They just made the tattoos up. They don't mean anything. They can mean whatever you want them to.

Well considering they seem to have a free will of their own and tend to melt into one big mess, you can as well think of it as God's will (personally I think it's a bug though

Dalish tattoos does seem to be very earthy, and have tree branches instead of just swirls, and they worship nature deities maybe that's what they mean just a depiction of nature.

As far as the story goes, yeah they symbolize your god.
As far as the game itself goes, they're just decoration without meaning.
Which makes sense if you think about the designs. Most of the tattoos come in pairs (a full version and a half version), and I don't see the different gods having symbols that are exactly the same as another god, only more filled out.

If I'm correct there are a few Gods that are twins and are related so they could be connected via their family tree.
i.e. full version is for the elder sibling God of whatever and the younger God of whoever gets the half verison of the same tattoo

Well, there is a codex entry on when and why they use the tattoos, but no guide to what design honors what god.

I can't confirm this, but i've heard that the Dalish Tattoos do refer to various Dalish Gods, but it's a natural part of the Lore & Setting that the info on which tattoo goes to which God is among the many parts of Elf Heritage that was lost to the sands of time along with the rest of the lost history. It has yet to be seen if this tattoo - god info will ever get rediscovered. (Psst, BioWare... If ya make a Dalish Keeper/Mage Expansion, see if ya can possibly stick this in along with it. Possibly also make it part of the Quest Completion that once the info is rediscovered, the character could choose to magically change the Tattoo to worship the God that appeals most to the Player, or choose to dump the Tattoo if the Player decides to hate the discovered Gods.)
