Through gameplay, glitches, or just weird cutscenes, what were some of the most awkward moments you had through out the Mass Effect Trilogy?

One of mine was when I accidently discovered Chronos Station early while looking for War Assets.

I found that in another playthrough and was like hey let me go to kill Cerberus.

One of them is on feros when Shepard is taking to shiala after she gave him the cipher and he says I saw I am not sure what I saw it still doesn't make any sense and he is looking to the side the whole time.

for me it's in the shuttle to the FOB on Earth it's the second (or third?) time anderson tells you he was born in london, shep just says "really?" and there's an awkward silence that i'm still not sure was intentional. and underwear in the shower, that's just odd.

Well the most moment breaking event was the invisible rock on Rannoch.

Alternatively, it could be great foreshadowing of Shepard's slipping sanity and why he is having starchild nightmares, and Tali is just too polite to point it out to him.

Another one I had was just after Thessia. EDI commented on tracking KL and Shep just stared at her for a good 2 minutes before continuing on.

shephard's head doing a 360 gave me nightmares far worse than chasing a young boy through a dark forest.

"We are not ready to control something like the Reapers."
*5 minutes later*
"So, TIM was right."

The appearance of the Starbrat, obviously, was (for me anyway) the most "awkward" moment of the entire trilogy.

But I guess that's an easy one? If I had to pick another then I guess I would go with the whole Kai Leng VS Thane fight "cut-scene" (I.E. forced sequence in which Shepard becomes a mere observer so that a forced outcome can be played out), that also following by Shepard's comment to Thane after seeing him being impaled by Kai Leng's katana, asking to Thane after he collapses on a wall: « Are you ok? »

No, Shepard, Thane is not "ok", and you know it. Why do you really have to ask him if he's "ok" when you've just seen him being impaled? Felt like trolling much? Awkward moment was awkward.

God I would have loved if they had Thane reply that way

I am going to go with a blast from the past, from Mass Effect.

Tali shows up with evidence against Saren. Which is an audio recording of Saren talking to Benezia. It goes something like:

Saren "Eden Prime was a major victory for us. It brings us one step closer to finding the Conduit."
Benezia "And one step closer to the return of the Reapers."

What is interesting is that after the mission you see Saren talk to Benezia, and he is mostly pissed off about how Shepard was able to diffuse the bombs and accessed the beacon. When does Saren decide to be happy about the mission? How does Tali end up with the evidence so fast?

And the best part is when you present it to the Council and you get "This evidence is irrefutable."

On my copy of ME2 there is a camera glitch during the Arch Angel recruitment mission, when you're taking to Tarik (The batarian leader of the Blue Suns on Omega), and the camera is always positioned *inside* his head when the view should be on him. So, I can see the neck of his armor, and his for eyes just floating in space. It's REALLY weird.

Not an awkward moment, but all three games would've been much better if occasionally I had an option to say, "We'll bang ok".

Shepard teleporting all over the place when talking to Hackett. Also when she's talking in the Mako on Earth on how she wouldn't want to be 'with anyone else' only for the camera to be focusing on the blank wall with Shepard no where to be see.

Oh and Anderson owning a stripper dress was kinda weird when my Shep found that in the wardrobe.

Let's call this the "Invisible rock Theory", poor Shepard never saw insanity coming,.

Regarding the rock, what the hell did Shepard expect Tali to do with it? Put it in her pocket? I imagine she carried it for a few minutes afterwards and tried to drop it when Shepard wasn't looking.

Every single transmission from Hackett in ME3.....he gets very annoying! I think the game would be much improved if Hackett didn't contact you after each mission, even the ones he has nothing to do with

Cerberus turning up on Tuchunka and suddenly every 5 seconds I hear the words"Cerberus bomb"...I kept wondering what the hell everyone was going on about tbh.

The time shepard compared the human colonization with the genophage and said it was the same thing to a krogans face.

The time shepard decided to kill his chances completly with the council by autodialouging "You've made your decision. I wont waste my breath" back in ME1.

The time he threatened soverign with his "Your just a machine, and machines can be broken" autodialouge.

The time shepard told garrus to not kill saleon, and than killed him anyway and said "You were right garrus. My bad"

Lord darius

But the biggest awkward moment of all will be in ME2, where shepard can stop himself from being able to complete kasumi's quest by making the guard pissed at him and not wanting to talk to him anymore.
