He means that this sort of stuff usually only happens in PvP games.
And he's right, it usually is limited to PvP, where one guy on a team gets annoyed at guys like Jay demolishing them or whatever. But in a co-op game it just makes no sense whatsoever. People shouldn't get annoyed about someone helping them win matches. But humans are pieces of trash. So it's not that surprising.

When EA added the ability to change your displayed name in Origin, it was only a matter of time before some douche got the idea to abuse the feature in an attempt to make someone else look bad. Luckily though, even if you can change what name shows up in game, the actual Origin ID remains unchanged, so when Bioware goes through the investigation on any claims of Jay missile glitching, they'll quickly identify the real culprit.

Yeah, thats not how he did it (unless it happens to 2 underscores only). For those curious, this is how it looks with multiple underscores in the lobby on PC
Can't test the extended ASCII code theory as origin prevents you from changing your ID for 7 days so i'm stuck with the above ID for another 5 days and stuck soloing until i can change it.
I suspect whoever is doing it is either changing the name in a memory location before joining lobbies (most likely) or let the name change sit for 6 days than quickly change it after missile glitching. Either way this can get serious so hopefully bioware can get on it quick when they get back into office.
Edit: Apparently origin is screwed up as well as i managed to get back to my old ID even though its not been 7 days yet. Not going to describe how to do it but if someone found out as well, they could conceivably fake their name, missile glitch then change their ID again.

You might want to drop Bioware an email so that you don't inadvertently get banned for impersonating Jay Hoxtaron.
