Could be a possible hint at SP DLC. Maybe a few extra missions on earth (like a mako mission); that would totally make up for 'Star Child'........................nah, just kidding. NOTHING could dampen my hatred for 'Star Child' D:<

I have a question. If the world did end would the operation have failed? I can just imagine a Bioware employee spending there last moments on earth ignoring the chaos and typing the words 'Critical Mission Failure' moments before the earth exploded O.o

I guess the "joke" is in the last paragraph:

The loss of life on our homeworlds makes it easy to believe that this
moment is the end of the world or the end of the galaxy, but I cannot
believe that. Since time was first recorded, there have been thousands
of supposed prophets telling myths about when the end will come, and
they have all been proven wrong.

And here I thought this was some hint at something special they have planned for us.

You people will **** about anything.

If you can't read between the lines of this blog posting referencing an operation that otherwise wouldn't have received any indication of whether or not we 'succeeded', or catch the references between this forum, the game, rumors, leaks and more - then I don't know what to tell you except that:

This is good news.

People, it's just a joke. The world didn't end on December 21st, which means we've won.

They decided to have some fun with it.

Ditto, also it gives a sense of hope which i thought was nice. Not to be confrotational with anyone but my kill count is waaay higher then yours! :D

Bioware has started making the allied goals top secret.  Just be glad we were successful becasue the consequences for failure would have been....rather unpleasant.  :wizard:

Try this link.

It did the same thing to me last week and this fixed it right up. At least you got the commendation pack, I was worried I won't be able to claim mine in time before someone pointed me to the above. I hope it works for you.

Haha! Well played Bioware. Well played indeed.

Now that's more like it, if I'm going to risk my neck, I want the op debriefs from Hackett!

I did not receive my Commendation Pack after completing Operation Prophecy on PS3. I did receive the banner and medal in my N7 HQ. Has there been a reply from BioWare about not receiving the Commendation Pack?

I liked that Bioware had some fun with this operation, making some fun of the supposed end of days.

I'm really happy to see that, after a prolonged and widely noted absence, Admiral Hackett is back to posting operation debriefs.

Yay!

Gotta be DLC tease. There was no allied goal.

Also, David, what are you doing at work? Y'all supposed to be off on holiday for three weeks. GO HOME TO YOUR FAMILY. Image IPB
