What a treat to come home from vacation and find that I missed an op over the weekend after BioWare announced there would be none for three weeks. Thanks for no heads up so I didn't bother to take my system with me when I went out of town.

Actually, I'm pretty sure their blog post said there would be no operations the weekend of Dec. 28th - 30th and January 5th - 6th. They specifically said, by date, what weekends would have no operation.

EDIT: Yup, here it was: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/15324353 which led to blog.bioware.com/2012/12/18/winter-break/ which said:

Multiplayer fans, please be aware that there will be no N7 Bounty Weekends for the weekends of December 28th or January 4th.

Najzere is right. They said there would be no operation the weekend before Christmas. They lied.

Do you have a link to where they said that? Because everything I saw on the forums and BioWare blog (read my post above yours) specifically stated which weekends - BY DATE - would not have operations.

I know folks like to crucify BioWare over every little thing possible, but I don't think this is a valid reason. Where did anyone with BioWare state "no operation weekend on Dec. 21st?"

I just played the first Mass Effect game for the first time, and if I never, ever, EVER see a MAKO again, it'll be too soon.

There's no record of it if they changed the blog post, so all I have is my memory, but the last time I checked the forums (last Thursday) there was no mention of an op. I'm not mad, just disappointed that I missed yet another op, since I could have easily done it if I'd have known. Still, no big deal. :D

I did not receive my Commendation Pack after completing Operation Prophecy on PS3. I did receive the banner and medal in my N7 HQ. Has there been a reply from BioWare about not receiving the Commendation Pack?

Have you tried this?

Anyone have a problem with Prophecy? I was at 8/9 challenges before completion but not 9/9 after completion. I received the commendation pack, points for completion, the banner and indications in my challenge points summary However, no points for completion of Weekend Challenge III or indications in the Weekend III summary.:?

I had the same exact problem. One mission away and it did not count Prophecy. Was this intentional?

So.....since I got the pack, banner, and op medal but no increase in Squad Elite: N7 Weekend Challenge III, what do I need to do to have this fixed. Or just forget it and wait till the next weekend op. I have noticed other bugs in the challege system.

THANK YOU! Every single time I mention what a nightmare that damn Mako was to drive, people react as if I'd said I was from Mars! Hated that thing... I don't think I've ever been happier than I was when I saw it's remains at the Normandy crash site in ME2!

That was in the 2 GB free DLC patch, failure was added as a forth.

I'm going to argue your defense. They simply changed their mind. They illude to it Here

It's no big deal. They love this game every much as we do. (more probably) I had fun doing it and seeing the mystery icons come to light was great too! Great job holding the line Drgaon.  I think your defense is a bit on thin ice.  Because it comes off as seeming like there was going to be nothing; and this mission certainly smacks of a Bounty Weekend even if it's not called that.  BUT it doesn't REALLY matter. :wizard:  Besides.. we got free stuff and it was a fun poke at a lot of silly hysteria.

Cheers!

IT is a gender neutral pronoun and is regarded as a linguistic axiom. Thus it stands on it's own. ;)

(hows that for a load of BS off the cuff?)

Omg the Goomba Stomp. How on earth are there so many people that hate the Mako? ESPECIALLY if you encountered any of those hilarious glitches. Unfortunately, the only hilarious "glitch" I ever encountered was the ability to climb up any surface, as long as it wasn't a blue mountain. Somehow those dastardly buggers make you slippy. :(

The one where you fly over the Geth Dropship is also hysterical.

Seriously? The remains of the Mako on the Crash Site in ME2 was your highlight? Not the ghost of XO Pressly? SCREW THAT GUY. Every time I left the ship and heard "Logged: the Commanding Officer is ashore. XO Pressly has the deck." I felt like vomitting out of my every orifice. I'd rather have CORTEZ in charge of the Normandy than that ******. Okay, maybe not, but still...

Always enjoy the Debriefings. I hope when ME4 rolls around these are given even more attention. Continuing the story through the MP is great.

Today I received further information from EA about Operation Prophecy. It does appear to be a problem since this was a "real" weekend challenge. They are looking into this and indicated they will seek a solution. I gave them my method of completion for the challenge which was: 1: I completed all reaper points (100,000) in 2 silver extractions on the London map. 2: On the Rio map I extracted once against Cerberus. 3: On the Vancouver map I extracted once against Cerbeus as well.

How the hell are people taking a debrief from December 21st into hints about a new DLC?
Look, the world didn't end, and Bioware probably just decided to debrief you from a different angle this time.
