The human engineer is probably the easiest to use. Drop a Combat Drone on top of a spawn and then concentrate on incendiary or disruptor ammo + overload for explosions.

 Human engineer is my fave. The combat drone when spec'd right is like an extra squad mate. Nothing's faster than Chiktikka vas Paus! (or braver, for that matter, goes for banshees, brutes, primes...best fodder period) Adore that thing<3.

QuarFemGineer.
Incinerate: 6 (specced for radius, recharge and frozen)
Cryo Blast: 6 (duration & damage)
Sentry Turret: 4 (shock evo)
Quarian Defender: 4 (capacity)
Fitness: 6 (all shields)

This is my personal favourite build in the game with damage amplifying equipment.
Just DON'T run Geth with it (unless you've mastered the acolyte)

I really like the quarian male engineer but his usefulness is somewhat limited to the number of grenades he can carry, run out of grenades and you're just a quarian with a gun and tac scan.

With Grenade Capacity V and 5 thermal clips, that is 42 grenades, not counting the nades from ammo boxes.  I don't think I have ever run out of nades while using any grenade kit.

and the grenades trigger fire explosions, whats not to love?

were talking 70-80 grenades a match lol...

That's fair, although I will point out that for every grenade you throw you can get both a fire explosion and (possibly) multiple techbursts.

I enjoy using every character available in the engineer class except for the volus (he is actually my least favourite.)

Played least: vorcha hunter, turian saboteour
Played most: quarian male engineer, geth engineer

I got my start in multiplayer with the vanilla engineer. Most of my engineers stick to pistols, except the geth gets the pulse rifle. I mostly spec for power damage with emphasis where possible on AOE and explosions.

Human engineer followed closely by the Female quarian engineer. Overall the human engineer tho. He's not super powerful, just incredibly efficient. Combat drone supports troops and he can hold his own with overload/incenerate explosions...he's very balanced.

To me, they are all really good except for the Vorcha Hunter.

I'd rank them like this, personallly. But it is just my opinion as a lowly console peasant.

Pros: Doesn't suffer much from weapon weight because Tac Scan have low cd and 'nades don't have cds, Great burst damage potential and Fast tech combos.
Cons: Gear Dependent...

GE all the way, GPS, set turret up for damage all the way and flame, charge the gun up, overload, and shoot, done. Use the turret in emergencies to restore your shields if you get in trouble.

QME is the best offensive engineer. The arc grenades and incinerate can be fired at pretty much the same time and clear a spawn quickly.

Demolisher is another really good offensive engineer but the travel time on homing grenades can be a pain, her arc grenades have a smaller radius than the Quarian Male's, and a lot of her builds rely on low or no fitness.
