And the Mars research data is in the hands if the Alliance as well. Even those fools would be smart enought to add two and two to make four.
Sorry but you can't Big Brother an entire galaxy.

The galaxy will know. You can't conceal the truth forever. There is just too many people who would know. Shepard obviously, Liara, the other squadmate, EDI, any Cerberus officer with sufficient clearance, anyone who looks at the Mars research later....

Trying to cover up the greatest crime in history? They had a working Prothean VI right under thier nose that could've nipped the Reaper threat in the bud with harly a sweat and THEY HID IT for hundreds to thousands of years. Thus leading to the death of billions!
That needs to be on every extranet site someone can manage.
QFT. Every tentaclehead who knew about that place needs to end up on a slab.

I think stripping the Asari of council membership would be a much more potent statement than offing the matriarchs.Rifneno wrote...

It's an either/or thing? I say do both.

It depends on the circumstances and the person. Although a tempting tactic is to, before anyone tries, flood the extranet with bull**** conspiracy theories about the war so that no one will pay any particular attention to the asari beacon one (and I can ensure that all evidence is erased when I rebuild Thessia). What would you do to anyone who did try to reveal what happened?

Is rather ey live in disgrace, maybe the other races will do the dirty work for us? I don't think the Turians will be too happy when they find out that Asari could have saved a palaver but didnt lift a finger to do so.
Christ my grammar is abysmal right now.

Rewrite history through a campaign of misinformation, destroy any remaining evidence, and bump off anyone left who knew about it beforehand.
How is this "system" you espouse not a dictatorship? Wouldn't say I "hate her to death," as you said of mine, but I'm glad your Shepard isn't in my universe.

No, what I meant is that the original Catalyst killed off the officials, not me. If any of them were still alive, I suspect that they'd already have every motive they'd need to keep quiet, so they would likely return to Thessia and be strongly encouraged to retire from politics, preferably while thinking about what the ramifications of their actions were.Rewrite history through a campaign of misinformation, destroy any remaining evidence, and bump off anyone left who knew about it beforehand.
As for the rest, what I want is to ensure the least amount of harm. This knowledge won't help anyone else and it'll hurt the asari, so I see no reason to let it survive. In any case, Thessian culture seems to be the most advantageous one in a peacetime society, which is what my galaxy will be.
This is the only major issue not related to defense that I would see a need to intervene in, however.

You remind me a lot of the Prophet of Truth from Halo. He started a campaign of genocide against humanity so that the Covenant Religion wouldn't be exposed as a hoax, the massive power and influence didnt hurt either,.

Odd. For being so xenophilic, it seemed to me the Asari vocalized more racism - even against fellow members of their own species - than any other race. Half of the background conversations on Illium, those two whinging on the Citadel, the one talking to Ereba about Charr "not knowing who to fight"...Xilizhra wrote...
