Well, this will be good.

Competing on 2x2 Mass Effect Multiplayer = Good;
Having a prize for the winner = Great;
Having the possibility to face Cold and Ashen in the first round, and being totally destroyed = Priceless.

Only issue I see with doing this with two teams in each game is it will really be who can control the spawn points more who wins. Could also just do 2 man gold games lol

We changed it. Only the final will have both teams in the same lobby. All other games will be just a duo. We post our best score, and our opponent posts there best score with same map and enemy.

Doing it this way allows for cross platform challenge.

Good idea. Def will work out better...cause you have seen the games we get with 2 randoms.  Our scores are well into the 100k's while the other 2 are barely are 30k lol

Cory, I think you need to better clarify the rules as they now stand. For the pre-final rounds, when you say "2v2 played in duo form," what does this EXACTLY mean? Does it mean both teams of two will play in the same lobby, with the combined score of the respective partners compared, or does it mean two separate matches will be played, one by each team, with their entire match scores compared? It's important to clarify terms that you set down, such as "partners" and "teams," as well as using general terms like "lobby," "match score," "individual score," etc., as many people will not fully understand what you have in mind for the parameters of the competition.

Also, how much longer do you think you'll continue signups?

Edit: Just saw your above post, thanks for that. Still, everything in the thread starter should be fleshed out for the benefit of the competitors.

Hows that clarification? and you dont rly need a double elimantion since its only you and cold. If you dont like the objectives you get or feel you can score better you can try again. I only count the score of the screenshot I get

Tommorrow morning I will probably lock sign ups and have ppl choose from those that remain. as for a deadline I think a 24 hour period is fair before a default

Considering that you only posted this what, thirty-six hours ago? I would keep signups open quite a bit longer, as I think with enough advertisement, we can have a really nice showing which I know we'd all like. It's a nice idea, and even if some of the teams may seem lopsided, I'd encourage as many people as possible to come out and show their support.

Cory, go ahead and put my name down (MiaovenWinter for PC); I'm currently looking for a partner while getting the word out, though I might back out later.

Edit, yeah, sign ups should be open a bit longer I think.

I think you should extend the deadline until Jan. 2nd to be honest, there are still a lot of people away from Holidays. I'd add a friend as my teammate, but then risk the possibility of not having one if he would rather not do it and he won't be around until tomorrow night.
