Too many variables to list all of them, plus it wouldn't benefit the event if anyone went into detail about it.
If people don't cheat then there will be no problems.

Most that have signed up have been around for a while, most of us have run together at some point on the platform we play on. As noted it's a bit of a moving target but there are easy ways to determine if a score is ligit, aside from that there is a level of trust when it comes to members of BSN, at least the ones I hang with, there is nothing to gain in cheating in life or this game.

You'd be surprised. People will cheat over anything. Not saying it's happening or will happen, but it has happened over much less.

Agreed. I'm pretty confident in the folks who have signed up being trustworthy. I wouldn't even know how to cheat/Photoshop even if I wanted to, but I don't. I almost always play a Turian for a reason, after all. Civic duty and personal responsibility are high on the food chain in real life and virtual life for me. Rad_Rage/K_O_513 is much the same.

My jaw is still on the floor at Team Second Place's points, though. My goodness, I knew the bar would be high, but... wow, we have homework to do!

You should of asked for a enemy change, if both teams agree on the enemy and location you guys can change what is set.

Xbox master race! Kidding aside, we had the Geth as well and I totally forgot that we could try to switch if the other team was cool with it.  It wasn't even all that bad until we started trying to get killstreaks in extraction (we only managed 2, spawns slit after 1st extraction killstreak), I think I used 3 or 4 gels in extraction wave because of that.

When the entire Geth army spawns 5 meters behind you because of screwed up spawn mechanics and start stunlocking you, I rage. I'm glad Sten didn't record that one. I probably lost 10 years of my life raging like a madman lol. Thankfully we only tried thrice. I'm not doing a 4th match against those blasted Geths.

Gollum and I only did 2 runs, the first one was to get an idea of what we wanted to do for it. Lucky for me I stunklocked the Geth back with Overload, so I didn't have to rage too much until the end where I couldn't even use an ops pack to stay alive and burned like 3 or 4 gels because of it.

Agreed.  Geth on Rio with my bad internet.  I really wanna know exactly how this setup was determined.  <_<

Anyway, we will hopefully have our score up tomorrow.  We've got an ok score now, but we can make less mistakes now that we know what we're doing wrong.

On a side note, I find it interesting that despite all the charts of enemies, damage, spawn budgets, etc. that no one (to my knowledge) has made a chart of enemy point values and modifiers.  Of course, there's never really been any need before this competition to know such things, but I still find it interesting.

After doing 4 Jade/Collector duo runs back-to-back with my partner yesterday, I'd actually welcome the Geth at this point. Not even joking.

The hilarity being our very first run out the gate was the best-scoring one any damn way.
