Pretty much just saying f*ck it and let's move on with the competition. Let's leave it as is and play.

no. As far as I knew I had gotten out of going against topographer in the future. Then something was decided in private that gives second place an unfair advantage. D:<

You still have to go against redjohn and killer. They are just as good. If you can beat them you can handle from. And yes I am dry for all of the drama wasn't expecting it.

Back room deals I know. However, if you are only looking out for your best interest only, it's kinda hypocritical. A point was made that one side of the tournament was more "skilled" than the other. I do agree with the lopsided view. But whatever was else was said or deal made, seemed to be what Cory liked. He is the one giving out the prize with his own money so it's pretty much what he says goes. If I had extra cash I know I wouldn't try to host some tournament and give some complete stranger $50. It is what it is, press on and stay motivated. If you are as good as Manbearpig says, I think you got a chance.

Not trying to be sneaky in any way. This whole thing was built with everyone's input.

There was no deal made, I just used the idea proposed by Kalas and suggested to Cory that the finals be more relevant.
It also doesn't give us an unfair advantage, we still have to go against spec x members in the bottom bracket and the top bracket was basically the same thing for the semi-finals.

The only difference now is that the finals will be more interesting since this gives the teams which are most likely to win the competition the ability to go up against each other in the finals rather than the semi-finals.

I know I know. His tourney his rules. I cant help but feel cheated though that a team that forfeits comes back in and advances into the second round automatically though. Not only that but pushes second place into the next round too and into an easier bracket.

I wouldn't call the bottom bracket easy. They put up comparable scores to everyone else.

psht Id even be ok with second place taking the wild card. My team takes their place and prophecy faces redjohn. Can we have that?

mmmmmmm, you are doing it wrong

prophecy should face Hazard, because Hazard is going directly to third round.

You see?, instead of use the wild card now let's just add another square and face Hazard with prophecy, in that way no one will have any kind of handicap.

Can someone please explain how this team was able to get the 5 waves survived medal & the 3 waves survivied medal?  Typically only the 5 waves survived medal would have been displayed.

Finally got a run we were happy with. Since we are the second team to post I suppose there is no harm in placing the screenshot here. Didn't really bother with medals too much....

Oh, and I suppose you don't need an email then, Cory?

you can get those two. that means they survived 3 waves, then down once. then survive another 5 wave. or survived 5 waved, down once, then survive another 3 waves.

You survive 3 waves you get a medal, you die and then survive the next 5 waves, you get another medal. Both displays.

The only time I've seen it happen is if the host leaves and is invited back to the same game. When that happens medals are reset, as are the clock and consumables.

Look at the time as well. 26 mins? Wouldn't you need to stretch out the objective waves as long as possible for a score like that? Compare the times with the other runs in here.

I guess you haven't seen Sten's videos when he duos with Jay.

Edit: For great justice.
There's also one of a platinum duo on his channel.

Apparently not, but with the methods I fear they might be using dday & I can easily post a pic w/ 600K+ sub 10 minuute runs & then say "apparently you guys dont know how fast we kill things".
