Actually we did figure it out.  Thats exactly how we tested it & could not get it to duplicate.  We got the 3 waves survived medal and the 5 waves survived medal.  Have you actually tried?  Show me a SS please I'll gladly STFU & chalk it up to a difference in platforms because what you suggest below DOES NOT WORK ON THE PS3!

The fact that you couldn't figure this out on your own is slightly troubling. And throwing around accusations of foul play isn't a good look for you. 

Plus if the host had left, Jay and Stentron would've had duplicate medals (2 headshot, kill medals etc.) 

P.S. Jay and Sten are the two best players I've ever played with. They're almost certainly going to win this competition (I mentioned them on page 1). They don't cheat and there are no smoke and mirrors about what they do. They don't need to cheat, because they're already so much better than the next best.

Sten was the one that broke my record to the fastest solo and it took me a while to break his and then he broke mine and etc etc etc, also, Sten is the best GI user i've ever seen.

Together they are a very very powerful team very VERY hard to defeat.

I know a very few combinations capable of be a hard competition for them.

Even thought Cyrus and I tried hard to get a good score, and I'm sure we could have beaten it if we had done something a little different in our last game, it was a lot of fun knowing we were going up against Team Tron in the first round. I suppose I knew we wouldn't beat them, but just the thrill of the challenge was very exciting. I'm okay with being out the first round because it was a lot of fun doing it and I learned some things from it.

I still have this hope of being able to play "With" my opponents someday, as I'm sure a lot of others do with the Tron's. Best of luck to everyone else in the competition.

I'm not sure what's going on, but here's the deal with the survival medals:

If you get a streak, it shows the highest streak, all the medals are like this. Hence when you get 20 headshots, you only see the gold one (and not the lower ones). The only reason why you can see a 5 and a 3 are because you can get a streak of 5 & a separate streak of 3 with a death somewhere in the between.

Thus, if you get 3, then two waves later you get 5 -> you see 1 silver medal. You can also get 3, then die, then get 5 I would assume as well.

I have seen the 5 waves + 3 waves survived several times on the xbox. Hope that helps clear up any confusion/issues.

Don't expect to beat them. The main reason I didn't compete in this tournament is because I would've wanted one of those two as my team-mate. And I didn't want to break up the Dream Team (Trons).

Pftff then will gladly challenge the dream team. I dont care how much skill they have. You talk like there is no point in challenging them. You can come up with every logical and statistical reasons why everyone would lose against them. Only the end will tell

Do you play across all three platforms & even if you do I know you haven't played with all the tournament contestants.  I'm not sure how you can say one person is better & you have no idea of the capabilities of the other person.  As I mentioned, not everyone feels the need nor has the capabilities to come on BSN & demonstrate their uberness.  Don't discount the unknowns just yet

Alright thanks for the explanation.  My partner was able to duplicate it by reversing the order.

Although I never accused Team Tron of cheating I do apologize for lightly insinuating it.  I would wish you guys good luck Team Tron, but apparently your the team that's least likely to need it 8P

Not a problem. Just trying to resolve things and keep it civil. Glad you're being mature about it.

I'm just excited to watch this competition. Thanks again cory (43vr_fall3n) for putting this together. It's really cool thing for the community, even for those like me who have no desire to play this game competitively.

On the chart, if you want to abbreviate our team name from Orgasmo & Choda Boy to O&CB to fit the score in, that's fine. As far as Tron's score. I saw what he did with a Saber in a vid. So I believe it. All the contestants here are legit and I trust they don't cheat in their regular games. Rio is basically a firing range if you set up at the right spot.

Just my two cents on this but I doubt anyone could beat NotoriousGIB. I think PC has a slight advantage on speed, settings, easy reload cancelling, fancy mice, keyboards, etc.

I hope that we continue to have these community challenges and I will be more than happy to help out with the arworkt/brackets. My suggestion is no cross-platform for the future. I'd love to sign up but I saw what I was up against.  I can guarantee yall could never beat Notorious on PS3. (no offense, I am a big fan of all of the top teir players participating)
