The limit is much more than 600, a little bit more than 700k.

Also, it depends on the faction, remember, Reapers give more XP than other factions.

But for Cerberus the limit would be close to 700 and maybe a little bit more.

we did it on U/U/P. 

We landed on Giant, don't remember well if it was Geth or Reapers.

I am going to have to disagree with anything over 700k.  Close to 700k, but not over it.  You are welcomed to try if you would like.

Another reason why this tournament is... Well, let me say flawed. Don't take me wrong, it's a nice idea and I'm enjoying seeing everyone fight over this haha, but... There is actually a set limit of some sort. 
We discovered this when doing the 1 million point run, objective waves eventually stop yielding points after you've killed a certain number of enemies.

QFT, I forgot about that, when the objective wave runs out of XP.  I have noticed this on lower difficulties as well.

Also the point budget max is very noticeable on wave 3 but I haven't tested if it still counts the kills for medals (I would assume it does but I will further data mine).

I like doing these challenges I feel more connected to the game and the community. And the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Idk what I will do after this one, the arena is taking so much more effort then the trivia challenge. Without our bracket master helping out this would look much more unorganized. So a big thank you to him.

It does indeed count toward the medals, you just dont get the points for it. I tested this one.

I just tried once with Angel, we got 470K, but we know is not enough. it was a pretty messy run though, we will try again maybe tonight.
