Yeah, I'm thinking any future tournaments should have some sort of timeframe on the rounds. Like teams have one week to submit their score, period. Take longer than a week, you forfeit. That would give everyone at least one weekend, if nothing else, to find time to do a few matches.

Agreed. As someone whose team is now an observer as well, it would be nice to know the hidden scores after the competition's end.
