Why don't the teams just post their scores on this thread so you can keep the tourney going? Surely cory can update the brackets when he gets back from sex rehab or wherever he is.

Worst case scenario, re-submit all scores to me.

I am already out of the competition, so I have no vested interest other than seeing what becomes of the remaining teams. And I am very active, so I don't mind taking on the mantle of leadership, if needed.

Vote yay or nay, let me know. If mostly yays, I don't mind taking the helm until/if Cory gets back from... wherever it is that he is.

Just know that the Steelers Hat of Fate for determining match-ups will change to the Gators Hat of Fate. lol

Okay, peeps, screw it. I'm taking over this thing until/if/when Cory returns from the netherworld. Everybody who has emailed him a score, email that shizznit to me. If y'all get this stuff tomorrow, I will have advancements posted by tomorrow evening. Tired of Round 2 taking a dang month.

not so fast u still have to defeat prophecy's DQ strategy. How do u defeat that which can't be disqualified. After that u must audition for the right to play team second place in the specter x bracket and it is likely that u and stentron will be locked in the reactor for outscoring ashen earth and denied entry into the elite bracket.

Jay, I just messaged Stentron to re-submit your score. If he can't produce it, then I would say one week to re-do and re-submit a score is fair, considering the amount of time that has already passed for Round 2. Is this agreeable?

Obviously, if Corey re-appears, then all this becomes a moot point.

I have asked Team Prophecy to re-submit their score.

Also, if anyone has any wonders or doubts about the prize in Cory's absence... while I am not exactly rolling in money, I am willing to honor his stated prize for the winner, which was roughly $50 each on the winning platform's transaction currency. As long as we end this thing in February, my paycheck would be good to cover that. LOL

I have PMed dday asking if he found a replacement. I will give him until tonight to answer. Technically, their default timer has passed, but since things went all to poop, I am trying to give all the benefit of the doubt while I clean up this round. But my assumption is that Team TFWO will have to forfeit. And I receive the score from Team Tron. So, that bracket will have a winner by this evening (and by evening, I mean evening EST GMT-5 because that's where I live, so that's the clock we're using... think it was the one we were using anyway because Cory is also east coast...).

Meanwhile, one bracket is now determined:

Team Prophecy:

Team Score = 461,865

Team Sons of Verner:

Team Score = 430,602

Now, what had we all decided about the bottom bracket of the wildcard? Cory has in the first post that it's an extra round with the losers of Bracket 3, but I think it later got simplified to just highest losing score from Round 3, right? Someone refresh my memory, please, so we can figure out who's facing Team Second Place.

By tonight, when/if I hear back from dday about a forfeit and once we settle the remaining wildcard slot, I will randomly draw the map/enemy for Round 3. ALL TEAMS WILL THEN HAVE EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM THAT TIME TO SEND ME A SCORE OR RISK FORFEITING. Round 3 ain't gonna last a freaking month this time, people.

Not sure why Cory is MIA, so I am ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL of the competition. Once someone refreshes my memory on how your opponent for the wildcard was being determined, I'll PM you when you guys are up.

This was actually our 2nd try at this. We didn't have time to play again after that time which was almost 2 weeks ago

I'll be sure to PM all remaining teams as soon as the draws are done and posted for Round 3, since I'm sure a lot of folks have fallen off because of the stagnation we experienced.
