Is there a simple way to have the 'black with pink/red' Colector/Deluxe Edition armor for Liara?  I have the PC version of the game through EA/Origin, have purchsed all the DLC, but I still want this armor set with the Justicar-type headband.

Do I have to work through the 'TexMod Editor', adding the " Liara Suit from Deluxe an Collector edition in High Resolution 4096x4096"?  Would Garry's Mod be an easier way?

I play multiplayer and would not want to get banned due to a texture modification.

Is there a simpler way, especially if I'm not sure how the hi-res will impact the frame rate on my pc?

Thanks.

You won't get banned in MP for modding SP.

I realize this was quite awhile ago, but.. I've been searching all around - my interest is the same as OP. I've become pretty familiar with using texmod and .tpf files, and have done alot of coalesced editing, both ME2 and ME3 (fairly different processes..) using me3explorer for DLC mods (limited success due to DLC being invalidated - didn't go beyond that..) but anyway -- I have been using the "Liara dlx collectors .. for standard" but would really like to use the complete armor with justicar-style headband (don't know why, just think it looks very cool on Liara). The .tpf that seems to include that appears to require collector's ed. DLC (lo-res), and doesn't work with my "standard" setup. Sorry so verbose. The OP mentions using the "TexMod _Editor_" - something I've not familiarized with. First question - is there another "for standard ed." .tpf that includes the headband? Did OP achieve his goal? Any advice or hints? I imagine that perhaps I could _add_ the headband to the existing "Liara DLX Collectors... for standard" .tpf -- or something akin to that. Not sure where to start yet.

Cheers and happy days regardless -

That should be fairly simple. Extract the mesh for the uniform (and the texture) from the Collector's edition pcc file, import it OVER one of her other available uniforms in a main game pcc file, replace the texture for the original uniform with the new one. If you are lucky then the texture will render properly as is, otherwise you would have to tinker with the texture to get it working. This is no different than me taking EVA's uniform from Mars and using it to replace EDI's default "nude" robot body. I did it and it works fine EXCEPT the texture doesn't render properly - it glows (common issue in these situations). The only thing that needs be done is to doctor the texture to eliminate the glow but that isn't in my area of knowledge even though I have the tools to do so.

Thanks for that -- I haven't done any tpfextract activity yet (in fact, I'll have to find a tutorial/guide to stay on track). I appreciate this though -- it seems clear.

Any idea as to why the .tpf wouldn't "just work"? Is it because I do not have the DLC? I thought it was due to it being 4096... but I made the coalesced mod (bioengine... d3ddrv.d3drenderdevice... maxtexturesize changed from 2048 to 4096) and still can't get Liara wearing the tiara. (heh... sounded funny in my head anyway ;-)

Thanks again for the reply man.
