Simple & epic

Here is the mod: social.bioware.com/project/8587/#files

If you have Leviathan installed, you will need a fix in addition to the mod. Get it here:
hotfile.com/dl/180650744/bf692fa/MEHEMv0_2_-_Leviathan_Fix.rar.html

The mod is still in beta.

Someone recently mentioned how unlikely it was that Shepard even managed to hold onto his pistol all the way to Starbrat, and mentioned how destroy wouldn't even be possible if he hadn't. Ever since, I keep imagining my Shepard's own special way of activating it. Holding up Starbinger by one leg and repeatedly hitting the destroy tube with him. Like a morning star or flail type weapon. All while childishly going, "Stop destroying yourself!" with every hit.

Now that needs to be a mod! Mehem is just to bland and predictable as it stands

Wrong and wrong. That is the destroy ending I wanted, BioWare, not speculation.

- I will say that that the MEHEM ending should've been one possible ending, that way there is something for everyone.

Hey, BioWare, if I owned a gaming PC, this mod would have gotten me to buy the trilogy again. Why won't you give me this ending? *Waves $$$* Here you go, BioWare. It's waiting for you. Don't you want my money anymore?

Nope, I have no problem with there being mod for those who wish to use it but Bioware should not waste resources on such things at this stage. They should continue making pre-endgame content and leave current endings alone.

This.

After EC I couldn't touch Mass Effect for months.  This mod got me to reinstall and play ME3.  And seeing these videos is making me go "Hmm, i haven't tried an ME3 adept yet..."

Yep, they shouldn't waste resources on a dlc that thousands of people would download and likely enjoy ;)

I think I prefer the original ending to MEHEM. I'm all for the option of a happier ending, but MEHEM is not it, in my opinion.

I will say watching MEHEM on youtube gives me more satisfication than picking one of 3 morally ambiguous choices when I play the actual game

Meh is far better than the sh!t@h endings that are there. Hell, Space Hamster is a more serious ending than the garbage given to you by BioWare. Plus, it takes work to actually put these together. You know, work BioWare didn't do.

If a modder can do it, how much of BW's resources would it really take? Seems like a good deal to me: they make it, I buy it. Just don't charge $15 for it. They could probably fit it on a story DLC as a bonus for those who wanted to activate it.

Might even buy some of them other DLCs if I had a decent ending for the game.

BIoware really dropped the ball on some things like Talis face picture. They put mor work into Diana Allers useless character than Talis face. So no surprise that a modder can make a better ending.

correction: this should have been one possible ending. those threads dont help the mod - htey just stirr up hate and new ending discussion.

this mod is optional fanfiction. it is a fifth ending and nobody is forced to use it. its purpose is, to make the game replayable for a lot ot people.

in fact .. the whole story is predictable and lightweight.

just the ending stands out. no plot twists at the end - the player feels fooled and this is bad.

Happy endings are lame and only children like them so much. Nothing is ever cut and dry and the original ME3 endings are a testament to that. The only thing I'd change is to have previous decisions have a greater influence in what or how it happens.

in fact .. kids like cruel and dark endings more than adults .. grimms tales are the perfect example. they are dark, brutal .. and kids love them ... they are fascinated.

grown ups like happy endings, because they are a contrast to our sh**ty life.
