Someone recently mentioned how unlikely it was that Shepard even managed to hold onto his pistol all the way to Starbrat, and mentioned how destroy wouldn't even be possible if he hadn't. Ever since, I keep imagining my Shepard's own special way of activating it. Holding up Starbinger by one leg and repeatedly hitting the destroy tube with him. Like a morning star or flail type weapon. All while childishly going, "Stop destroying yourself!" with every hit.

Win on so many levels!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Actually, in my game Shepard doesn't seem to hold onto the pistol after the Anderson scene-Shepard's hand appears to be holding something but there's no gun until s/he shoots the tube.

It's got a tiny reunion scene which is good
It removes the starchild and its failed logic... which is awesome

Good mod. Not perfect but you can't really expect that with an engine that's mod unfriendly and developers that simply don't want to support modding any longer - a shame bioware.. you were doing really great on DAO...

Despite what people think of the contents of the mod I think it's impressive what mrfob accomplished and I applaud his work and that of the people who were involved.

Dunno why people like that mod so much.  It only adresses a single issue (lack of reunion option) out of many other often more serious flaws in the entire ending including all of Priority Earth.

Anyways, the Animal House Extended Cut is the best ending:

(somebody beat me to it above, but I refuse to delete it.

... Or this one.

*sigh* if this game would be easy to modify, we would have a real ground-mission for every scan-mission ingame.

"you cant just simply mod this game." hex editing is one thing .. but for the rest, you need biowares development tools.

people have tried to "fix" priority earth ... it is not possible, without rebuilding the whole mission "bit by bit".

Uh, it does address the issue of the presence of glowing ghost children spouting gibberish and brandishing space magic too. A major issue, I feel. THE major issue even. The Priority Earth mission suckage is another issue altogether, one that couldn't be addressed by a mod.

Wow. This mod combined with watching the gay Kaidan hug mod made this my official ME3 ending. Much more exciting! Why aren't these guys working for Bioware????
