First of all, I just wanted to say that this game is badass.  I originally bought it for XBox and I decided to get a computer version as well.  Being that I use Macs, I figured I'd get the mac version.

So, onto my problem...

I have a 2006 MacPro that had an NVidia 7300GT in it.  I installed and played DOA no problem on it.  Although, the graphics card pretty much sucks for this game.  So I bought an upgrade, the Radeon 4870.  The problem is thought that after installing the card, there is no video.

When the game starts up, the mouse pointer changes and I can hear the normal splashscreen intro music/FX.  I just don't see anything displayed.  I tried reinstalling and trashing all properties and settings.  In <user>/library/preferences/DOA.. as well as in my documents directory.  The video is still not showing up.  I verified that other games work, for example, Neverwinter Nights 2 works flawlessly.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?  I REALLY want to play this game as it should be played.

I could have sworn that it wasn't there yesterday! And considering that the game came out at least a couple of weeks ago with just six topics, it looks suspicious.

Thanks though!

I found it first early yesterday, when the first message had a "one day" variety of date stamp for its creation, but by yesterday afternoon, that first one's creation date was showing as "two days".

I've asked in several places why its existence was left a secret, instead of having any announcement of its existence, and got no answer.
