I don't know how you can be excited for something you know next to nothing about. Frostbite 2.0 on a game other than an FPS has me interested though.
Oh that's easy, I don't know much about the game, but I'm still pretty excited, because I've enjoyed the other games, I'm interested in the setting, and whatever the story turns out to be, I'll get to find out some more about what happens next. It's like reading a series of books for me, just with more button mashing.

That's more than I know about the next episode of the TV shows I keep coming back to each week. What's there not to get? ^^Welsh Inferno wrote...

Yeah, I'm excited!

Any small enthusiasm of this franchise I had plummeted straight to zero.
A new engine won't save it, anymore than it'll make ME4 a success. Sh!t in a shiny box is still sh!t in a shiny box.
Until I see it finished and being played, as far as I'm concerned anything any EA employee says is a straight-up lie.
So, not just "no", but hell no.

Morbidly curious, especially when it comes to the marketing campaign. I wonder if there will be something even sillier than The Awesome Button, Think Like a General, Fight Like a Spartan or that Marylin Manson song.
You forgot Hot Rod Samurai, how could you forget Hot Rod Samurai.

I'm basically just keeping an eye on it to see how serious they were about trying to bring back some of that DAO charm and how much of a DA2 rehash this will end up being.

This. However, once we find out the companions, if there's one I'm really looking forward to, like the one mentioned in my signature, then maybe I'll be excited.Fast Jimmy wrote...
I am not excited for it. I am looking forward to its release, but not with what I would call excitement.

The kicker for me for this game was the moment I saw "Multiplayer for DA3".
Multiplayer if done right (ME3 did this right with free content patches for all players IMHO) would be a hugely positive thing for me and my friends.
There ain't alot of decent Co-op fantasy RPG games, so even something as simple as a horde mode style co-op experience could help reel me in.

What I would like to see for a co-op system is one that can be played within the SP game, such as like was possible with Baldur's Gate or better yet, such as NWN. However, with a voiced protagonist, this isn't something that would be likely unless they were to develop 2, 3, or 4, distinct roles to play within the co-op multi-player.
Otherwise, multi-player would end up pretty much like an all-combat system fighting waves of opponents without any real story to it, just missions.

I am now cautiously optimistic that it will be a fine game.
But when the devs seem to think RPG means you have 3 choices in a story plot instead of 2 you know that you are not on the same wave length as the devs are in terms of genre.
I will remain hopeful until i cant remain hopeful any longer.

I noticed that a lot of people keep saying "Oh, they haven't given us enough info yet!", which is completely untrue.
-No race selection
- No para dropping enemies.
-Voiced protagonist
-Frostbite 2 Engine
-dialogue wheel
-Choices will have more of an impact.
-save imports
-castle building
-companion armor
-no recycled location/ larger levels
-more open world exploration.
-Mage-Templar war
-Will be located in Orlais and focus on the Civil war.
-Multiplayer in some form.
-No playable Origins
Most of the stuff sounds pretty lame to be honest. I'm pretty sure it will get a better reception than Dragon Age 2 since the expectations have sunk pretty low after the whole Mass Effect 3 incident.
