I know, not *quite* a solo, but he's in my FoV a lot of the time, and there's a nice segment watching him while dead in Spectator mode

He actually has only one missile more than everyone else has. The other 3 are from armored compartments, the gear. I'm guessing 1 single missile didn't make that much of a difference, did it?

Goddamit man... 13:57, really? Is there a video somewhere? If there's not, would you be interested in recording a gold run, even if it's "only" around 15 mins? I would be even more interested in that than in the platinum one...

I should watch this video. I have started playing the Fury again from level one and success has been mixed. i am getting killed to much. My build was going to be 6/6/6/6/4/4. Not sure which weapons are good choices or which gear. I was using the scorpion the other day.

6/6/6/4/4 is perfectly fine. Link's build is desgined more to eek out a bit more damage at the expense of innate AF speed and one rank of fitness since in a speedrun Plat Solo it's more efficient to just bunch everything up to kill it. He also uses Cyclonic Modulator IV's so his fitness rank doesn't really matter.

In normal group play, charged running Acolyte on groups of mooks + throw. Bosses get shields stripped with Acolyte, then Dark Channel + Hurricane + Warp Ammo. Don't detonate the DC unless you are going to immediately replace it(or Boss is at last few bars of Armor) otherwise you won't be getting the Biotic Primer Damage Bonus for your Hurricane from Warp Ammo.

I use Acolyte X + Magazine Mod + Heavy Barrel, Hurricane VI + Heat Sink + High-Velocity Barrel, Commando Package(Pistol/Biotic)

If your weapon mods aren't maxxed or weapons are lower level you can drop Heavy Barrel for normal Barrel on Acolyte to make up for the weight increase incase you miss a throw when spawn rushing so it'll be back up before the enemies who aren't stunned by AF kill you(can also use light melee to keep yourself alive if this happens).

The link is probably fine; I haven't watched since the last video was posted. I just posted a group play strat that works without cylclonic/adrenaline/speedrun in mind

I can usually score 200k+ using Fury but my skill is nowhere near yours; great work

I think the new record is maybe deserving of a new thread - for the sake of archiving? Edit - also people see that the OP is from a month ago and won't realize this is a new record. I say revert this thread back to the original sub 24 minute video and start a new thread for the new record!!

Very cool Link. Hurricane X - whaaaaaaaat? Haha! Sooo jelly. You make plat solos look like a bronze match where the AI didn't get the memo about which enemy type was supposed to be there, so it threw them all in.

BTW - video quality looks really nice! Still looks a little dark to me, but I think you might just use lower brightness levels than I do
