That's crazy, and impressive! Congrats!

The few times you actually got pinned in by Phantoms/Banshees, it's shocking that you didn't get insta-grabbed.

Link, how much have you played with the Fury to be this good with her? Give us an idea. As I understand it, you only use 3 levels of fitness, but you hardly ever lose health in the video. Quite amazing. I guess that's the benefit of playing the Fury on such a small map. Free drain everywhere.

Notice him running up to shielded enemies whenever his barrier is down to use advantage of the AF "Drain" evo and restore it.

I identify very well with the character

I like in every way

Amazing, fantastic knowledge of the game and mechanics and mad skillz.

On the character setup, would you mind answering a few questions?

Just wondering if you could do similar with the Asari Sentinel.
- is it the Fury's specific powers?  As in throw and Dark Channel vs Warp, as you dont seem to throw particularly spammy, and use a lot of Hurricane for damage.  So have you tried with the AssSent?

Have you tried other weapons?  Or is the Hurricane's snergy with the Fury the optimal you've found?  eg: Talon/Harrier/etc  as therotical dps on some other guns is similar to your Hurrican VIII.

Just curious on your choices vs other similar options really.

This is insane man. Congrats!

I don't think anyone will soon (ever) be able to beat your time, except perhaps yourself with a Hurricane X.

 I... I don't...

23 minutes...

****, Link, you're the Fury God. Teach me, please.

I have no words to describe this, everything I can think of is UP.

A big part of the answer is the cyclonic IV. And drain of course. Not taking anything off Link's skills of course, I could never do something like that even with a cyclonic X, and I doubt anyone here could. But still, if he tried without a cyclonic, things would be much different. But you know, those consumable slots are there to be filled ;)

It's safe to say the fury is now your btch. No one can play as good as you with that character I reckon. But the GI or Kroguard will not let the fury take the title. Watch out :P

Honestly, the only one I can see beating this time is Jay. But he'll have a hell of a hard time doing it even with a GI... C'mon Jay, why you no let the competition begin?

The biggest part is the Acolyte, makes short work of Phantoms, Banshee barriers and shields. You take it away - and the time will be a lot longer. Also 10 ops packs allows you to be much more aggressive.

Link is legit though, so grats. ;)

Uh? If you're refering to me saying a big part is played by the cyclonic, I was talking about the fact that he rarely takes health damage, which the guy before me pointed out.

And anyway the only real reason Link uses the acolyte for are Phantoms. He usually doesn't even bother switching to the acolyte to rip Banshees' barriers, since hurricane VII + DC + warp ammo IV + BEs = no barriers banshee, pretty much.

I doubt the time would be much higher without an acolyte. Maybe 1 minute longer, or 2.

I agree on the ops packs though, they're a big help. I usually run survivor loadout on my fury to get a bit more of them

Without the Acolyte every Phantom would take 2 BE's minimum. Also the Hurricane would run out of ammo faster.

And don't forget Atlases, Hunters, Pyros, Primes.

mmm you can try use the N7 piranha it´s a good option besides claymore

DC vs Warp + both are good but i prefer DC because i kill fast, the debuff can be used 3 or 4 times at same time

or let a boss unit w/o shield and ther hp will down to 40 or 50% no shield regen

and yes i tried the AssSent but i think it´s more tank and less mobility but still are a good option for be a one man army :P

in the past   i found the hurricane are unnecessary
because I had it at a low level
and had better weapons with DPS and same weight
since I have it on level 4 started to use
i made a platinum solo, with that hurricane IV which caused only a great revolt :P

I'm not so sure the acolyte contributes much.  I use the same loadout as Link on my Fury.  I've done many platinum solo attempts with her, and my conclusion is that the acolyte really don't help that much.  Dark Channel and 1-2 seconds of the hurricane and you can pretty much walk away from the Phantom and she dies a few seconds later.  Also, I see that Link is taking advantage of such a small map for BE.  There are a lot of collateral damage done.  The phantoms probably get a few of those too so by the time he hits the phantom, she's already weakened.

Once the new DLC comes out, I will dump 12mill on PSPs.  If I get enough cyclonic IVs, I'm going to try the Fury on Glacier.  Not really hoping to match Link.  I've learned quite a bit from the video.

Dies a few seconds later? Well in those few seconds she can palm blast you to oblivion and back. OR sword salsh you when you're pressured by something else. Acolyte's utility, stahher and instant shield stripping is invaluable for this speed. Without it you're looking at 35 minutes or more.

How do you just walk through the swarm on this bit...

http://www.youtube.c...2CxULzo#t=1195s

Even with annihilation field draining shields I wouldn't expect to survive that. Plus, the banshee's barriers were already down. Just... wtf?

At any rate, amazing gameplay on that video.

EDIT: Oh wait, was there a cloaked geth hunter in the middle of the swarm? I still find it crazy you managed to survive that bit even with the hunter, but at least that explains it.... somewhat. :?

nop you are right but  " see video min 19:55 for check "  ^_^
the swarm causes more damage When are compressed
and less damage when this expand
if they had been compressed surely would have died or simply force  me to use a Ops Pack "plus i drained some shield from the geth hunter"
