At present, I live about 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, on the Indiana side.

For me, where I'm from is subjective. I'm American, but being the son of 2 Naval Officers, and being an Army Officer myself, I tended to move around a lot.

I was born in Torrance, California, but lived in (what I call) my hometown of Redondo Beach for my first 5 years (I consider myself a Californian), lived on 5 Continents (North and South America, Asia, Europe, and my favorite, Australia), 9 states (California, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, Virginia, Oklahoma, Georgia, Hawaii, and Indiana), and 2 War Zones (Afghanistan and Korean DMZ).
