I think in this day and age it's not so odd anymore to have met your spouse on the internet. I'm old enough that I still think it's kind of weird, and if I'm honest I'm glad I met my wife in real life so I don't have to say I met her on the internet. But I don't roll my eyes any more when I hear that's how it went down for someone else.
At least you guys didn't meet on an online dating service, it was doing something you were both interested in. In that respect it's no different than meeting someone at a concert or through your church or whatever.

I think it's cool really. The idea of a site or forum just to meet people seems so awkward and contrived to me. I guess it's no worse than going to the bar though.

That's a sweet story, thanks for sharing! My wife and I met playing tabletop D&D many years ago, and now play ME3 MP together. Couples that game together are awesome.
