And she's better at it then I am...
Nothing says "I love you" better then letting me steal her kills just so I won't end up last...
Or kitteing husks to help with husk points...
Or wasting a rocket on wave 1 of platinum on a lone banshee that got me by surprise...
She's just too awesome.
And I love her.
I wish we end up like OP did.
Cheers!

I fell for a girl playing ME3MP... Problem was, I had a girlfriend at home and said player was in Scandihoovia. So, I did what all grown men do in such situations - run!!!!

Lovely post, OP, good on you for sharing your story.
Luckily my partner and I have been together long enough we don't get the "how did you two meet?" question so much any more, but I really look forward to the day where I can answer "on the internet" without feeling embarrassed.
I'll be honest, I tell people "mail order bride" when they hear her accent lol. I think its hilarious when their jaws drop. Then I tell them the real story, and their jaws drop again lol
Don't make fun about a Dutch accent. At least we Dutch learn at least one foreign language
Besides that; cool story and it's always nice to read a thread on this forum which is not about the biggest e-peen.

On a serious note, congratulations. I met a girl through gaming once, and she is a fantastic person. We never dated, but there was always chemistry there, and we are still friends to this day. It's probably a good thing we never got together, because we'd probably be that gaming couple who starved to death while gaming together, only to be found by an angry neighbor banging on the door to complain about the stench of our lovingly decomposing bodies.
That is a wonderful story, and I'm glad to see happy gamers find eachother like this. This calls for a Disney movie.

Gaming is the best. Get to know the person while having a game if the conversation hits a wall or talk about it IRL if you can't find common ground. The online community is becoming more female dominant and its only natural more women are getting into gaming.
Anyway cheers and good luck! I can't stand women or relationships anymore. Sucks away game money and time.

I game all the time with my dude, didn't meet him through a game but it's so cool we can play together. I also think it's kind of funny that most of my high maintenance girlfriends are all single right now, but their dorky geekette gamer friend is the first to get snapped up. Sort of the opposite to what you'd expect. I've told them they're missing out, they just don't listen...too busy getting fake tans & watching bad chick flicks... *sigh*
So anyway...This is the new match.com.

Haha. Yep, I want to hear more stories about your high maintenence friends next time we play, the impressions of them were funny as hell
And it might very well be the new match.com ... although I'm on there. Hmmm suddenly it doesn't sound so good after all. If I'm a jerk to someone I meet from here, it's nothing personal, I just have my moments.
