Ravenger can insta-kill my Valkyre after a biotic explosion. 

Ravenger will make you hit health gate, without the Ravenger firing his missiles, stepping on acid and/or stepping on swarmers.

I can repeat the exact same situation with the Fury, but i do not take any damage at all. Only the Valkyrie.

Anyone else experience this?

Note: This was tested on and off host, exactly the same results, i can also upload and link more videos of this phenomenon happening.

I assume you mean a Ravager. No "en" in there . It's based on the word "ravage", not "revenge".

Anyway, no, i don't have those problems, even off host, but to be honest i don't play the Valkyrie much, i'd have to test it some.

That was off host, right? You probably was on acid and the game didn't show because of lag.

I experience the same, as i stated above, when i host.

I can do some solo runs and record the exact same situation.

Again, i only experience this with the Valkyrie, the Fury is just fine with no damage on/off host.

Also, you should know this right now, walk over acid from a Ravanger, the character will slowly start loosing shields, then health. You do not just instantly hit the health gate in one second as shown above (also had 100% shields and health both at 700).


Also notice, once health gate it reached, it takes 1-2 seconds to restor the first health bar and shields start getting restored without a delay.

Looks like a bug if you ask me.

I play the Valkyrie very often and kill ravagers like this, but I always immidately do the biotic back-slide, just to avoid things like...ravager goo and swarmers jumping at me. I advice you try the same.

She has to be bugged, like a few other Retaliation kits. I bet if you ran a Cyc Mod IV, it wouldn't make a difference. Sometimes I feel that I drop as fast when I do use a shield buffing equipment as when I don't.

That is weird - I've never had that happen before.  I guess it's possible the Ravager actually turned and fired at you without you seeing it because of lag.

Just tested on Gold with Stronghold/Adrenaline, full protection on TA and fitness 4. Hosting. It happens sometimes but it isn't limited to ravangers. A brute killed me after I killed him, just because he gave me a high five seconds before dying. I wasn't even next to him when he fell. I wish I'd recorded it but alas...

There's 60 some-odd other classes in the game. While I can't remember what specific classes, I've seen it happen to me more than once and to friends. It's a bug associated with Ravagers, not the Valkyrie.

It's happened to me with a full Fitness Krogan with a CM IV and 30% DR from Fortification while hosting...

not a bug related to the Valkyrie

I disagree, i play against reapers and only reapers since bioware launched Retaliation DLC. I always go up close against a Ravanger with a Krogan Soldier, Sentinel, N7 Paladin etc, those close up classes and never did i experience this.

I spent the whole day yesterday with the Fury, doing the same as you see in the video, no issues at all.

Today is my first "real go" at the Valkyrie, and only today with the Valkyrie i get this.

Even before this post, i just did Gold and used the Paladin, melee'd the lights out of the Ravanger and did not get that same bug/issue with the Valkyrie.

I will be more than glad to record all this and link it to you guys.

I dunno. I never use my Valkyrie, and I've had the bug happen to me several times before. This isn't a matter of who's right and wrong, we're both confirming the same thing, just with different kits.

I can do the same with zero issues (exception of acid).

I do not loose 1350 health and shields instantly in rage/without rage.

I can make a vid to back myself up if you wish.

Bingo, but this just started today for me with the Valkyrie and only the Valkyrie for some reason.
