What is your native Language BSN?

Finnish as native, English as second language (A2) (although I am better at it than Finnish if I compare the grades I got [9 vs. 10]), Swedish as B1 language and Russian as B3/B2. I only know some Arabic, not enough to solely speak it if I am in Arabic country.

Then again, every one seems dead silent in every match I play, aside from the occasional cuss-word when their character dies,so it doesn't really matter.
Or maybe it does and I should really find an MP group because clearly 99% of all the matches I've been in have been PUGs.

If Finnish is your native tongue then your Finnish is almost definitionally better than your English, regardless of what grades you may have gotten in English.

If this is because of the grammar of my posts mind you, this is teh interwebz and I am on iPad:happy:
But I started learning English early and by the time I was 7 I was trilingual (Finnish, English and Arabic, I've always considered English as my second native language). After that Arabic faded because I didn't use it so often anymore. I always found it easier to write essays in English because Finnish is so goddamn hard to write due to all rules and ****.

Well, that much I figured. English is kinda the village bicycle in Europe, every other language has had a go at her. So English is pretty adaptable that way.
Italian has not :innocent:
Maybe that's the reason so few italians know english in a decent way.
If you haven't figured that out by now, mine is italian. It looks like I'm the only one around here...

Second language: French
Okay to all you people who can speak many languages what is your secret?
I speak English, so I should be fluent in most Europen languages since English overlaps with:
Greek
Latin based languages
Celtic
Gaelic
Nordic languages
Germanic languages
English covers at least 2/3 of Europe easily.
Yet I can just about manage a conversation in French. Shamefull really.

English as second language. Fluent in Danish (I'm half Danish, and have spent a lot of time there over the years). And I vaguely remember a bit of the French I learned as a third language in school.

Its because most native english speakers become lazy at languages. The other ones speak their language, more or less, so why make the effort.
