Not quite, but I think the combination of starting out fairly early with English in school together with a tradition of not dubbing foreign films and television shows helps a lot. I know I picked up a lot of pronounciation from David Attenborough and Monty Python.Kenadian wrote...
Are Scandinavians born with English dictionaries or something?

Having both Ukrainian and Greek in the poll, but not German.
Seriously? GREEK?
May I ask why not?
There aren't many people who speak it, it's not even remotely wide spread and it takes the place of languages that are.

What does size and population density to do with it?Stardusk wrote...
It does work but only because the countries are so small and sparesly populated.
Scandinavians don't actually pay any more on average for things like education and health care (relative to GDP) than people in other western countries. It's just that since you pay over your tax bill instead of paying cash for what you actually use at any one time, the cost gets distributed over the entire population based on income.

I think the most impressive thing is how, despite being a drunk crackhead, you've risen to the rank of Major.
Congrats!
