We all heard about the Puzzle Theory. I wonder how many "hidden" (probably unintentionally, but we're geeks, right?) pieces of these puzzle are there. Maybe there's a key to understanding the conflict between synthetics and organics? To finally get solid evidence which choice is perfect? Or why every ending is equivalent? Or something else?

Let's put all the intriguing pieces we can find together. That should be fun!


Rules:
1. The pieces are: actual facts from the game (e.g. "beigns of light"), interesting coincidences (e.g. cave paintings in Leviathan and vision from artifact found in ME1).
2. Include name of user who first found the clue you post (if you know it).
3. No discussion unless you add a new clue. Just to make the thread clean.
4. I will try to edit this post and add each new piece of puzzle as you report them.

The list:

1. "Beings of Light" (by HunterX6 ) - is it about the Catalyst? A collective of AIs created to save us from "machine devils"? Or is it some completely unrelated myth? Or maybe there's something more to it? And who first designed the Crucible?
2. Leviathan's presence in ME1? (by Sejborg ) - so, what did we actually see? A Reaper or Leviathan in his spaceship? Was the artifact a leviathan enthrallment device or was it another prothean beacon?
