As title, I am woundering what class/species and weapon i should use for soloing, all the difficulties but mainly silver.

You'd be better off posting this in the MP forum. Personally it's the Kroguard with a shotgun of my choice.

That depends on the map/enemy/difficulty and your playstyle.

Even then, there is no setup that is objectively better than everything else. One of the more popular easy mode setups would probably be the Turian Ghost Infiltrator with the Cerberus Harrier or Particle Rifle. As for the build, pull the last rank from Stim Pack or Overload to put 3 ranks in fitness. Max everything else out, set his Armiger Legion passive for weapon damage.

Use grenade capacity gear.

For Geth, Kroguard.

For any other faction it is Ghost. Runner up is probably durability spec'd Geth Trooper or the other infiltrators.

Kroguard, Huntress, Geth Trooper (flamer build) come to mind for me. All three are extremely cheap vs. the AI.

I too am struggling. I have a huntress 66653, viper X, Hi velocity barrel, 4x scope. I was doing just fine against silver geth in Vancouver. Lovely long fire lanes. Then something went off the rails. I can't get past wave 6. It seems cloak is almost useless. Rocket troopers nail me from across the map. The prime's combat drone completely ignores cloak AND staggers.

One strange thing happens on the upload data missions, I can be cloaked and yet the upload progresses. A quarian infiltrator in the same situation has to be uncloaked for the upload to progress. Am I doing something wrong? And yes. I cloak before running out of cover.

I've managed to get a few silver solos versus geth on random maps with the Krogan Vanguard.
Pretty easy. As for stunlock. Not a big deal. I can shrug off that stunlock with biotic charge.

I think the Prime is the only Geth enemy that can sync kill. But it's not too bad. Not compared to the other three factions.
Primes move very slowly so they're easy to avoid.

Wrong. Primes do NOT have a sync kill.


I did my first Gold solo with a Huntress against Reapers. Straightforward enough.

There are no sync kill units whatsoever for the Geth, which is why Kroguard is the easiest.  Stun resistance, and you can charge and melee with impunity.

It was even easier before they fixed the Prime drones' attack, and added Bombers.
