architecture related stuff, I've got my degree, but haven't spent the money on getting the license as employment has been up and down the last four years.

Well this thread deteriorated quickly.

Not my fault.

You're awfully defensive.

Data analyst for a large health care system. I actually started out volunteering and they liked me enough to make me a FTE :)

Still want to be a game programmer or designer some day...

Yup it's a stable career!:police:

If you can handle the indignity of having Subway sandwiches thrown at you on a regular basis, of course. ^_^

Or pieces of pepperoni in your hair, or bacon strips down your panties then yes you too can be a dancer!:wizard:

Please tell me, you're actually an overnight stocker at Target, so we can move on. Looks like getting a handjob for a sub got too many creepers' attention.

I don't do anything for a living. I have some ahem, 'mental problems' that keep me on disability. I do plan on trying to go to college sometime soon, I'll just have to do 1-2 classes a semester to keep the anxiety at bay.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of location? Lots of friends in the field, funnily enough for a comp sci major.

I'm a book designer and format manuscripts, which means that I'm sometimes subjected to lots of bad writing in a given week.

It can be a bit grating when the authors are bad AND demanding AND I have to argue with them over things like proper punctuation. Fortunately, I win 99% of the arguments because I can almost always find iron-clad proof supporting my position from grammar- or writing-related websites, etc.

I currently have the extreme misfortune of working at 711. My customers are nice, at least (and I'm not on graveyard anymore).

I am a security guard. I work at a department store twelve hours a day. It stinks. The people I deal with are scum. Before my medical discharge from the U. S. Army I was a solider for eight years and fought two wars and was deployed four times. When people argue with me after getting caught stealing I just want to shoot them in the face and throw their dead body in the dumpster behind the store. After working this job for a year I have come to the realization that shooting dumb people is easier than talking to them.

Good to see another architect! Not so good to see another one in the same boat as I. :(
