Why, because it differs from your own opinion?
No, because you're complaining about a pure Tech class not having "actual Tech powers" regardless of the fact that all 3 of her powers are Tech.
It's like me making a thread complaining that the Krogan Soldier is not a Krogan.
I still want an actual Quarian Engineer, please.

Except that fireballs and ice spells aren't all that "tech-y". Its not like they are rockets, like concussive shot and carnage. They are just full on "Cast fireball!" and "Cast Icebolt!"
I wanted to play a Quarian whose specialty is tech, like you see in..oh pretty much all the other quarians, both the other MP classes, as well as campaign.
The other playable quarians use things like tactical scan, arc grenades, c4, sabotage. But then the actual TECH class, has a turret sure, but then fire and ice spells. Makes NO flippin sense. Can't even excuse them as really being tech, since there are more tech VERSIONS of those (grenades, rockets, etc)
I'd even be okay with just having ONE, like the male quarian has just incinerate, then two actual tech powers. But engineer...doesn't have the abilities a quarian engineer would be known for. Its kinda silly, since theres a LOT of options that would fit better. (again, drone specialization, or energy drain/overload/sabotage. Quarians are the robotics/tech specialists, I can't see how fire and ice spells fit them over all the other tech abilities.

The Ice and Fire are generated by your Omni-Tool, which is TECH.
You're complaining about nothing.

To be fair, the Krogan Soldier could be a test tube baby (hence having Grunts armor), and would then not be considered an actual Krogan.
What's odd is that I've actually thought about this before.

Though the OP probably wants a copy of Tali'Zorah in MP - she had Energy Drain, Sabotage and two types of combat drone.

2 summoning skills, a control spell, and something that drains away magical barriers and gives them to you. Yup.

But to a degree I can relate to the OP though I don't see her as a mage or anything... I am not a huge fan of her abilities simply given how advanced the Quarians are supposed to be in tech. The abilities seem very vanilla to me when compared to all the tech inventions credited to the species.
