Just blow it up. Blow it all up. It certainly didn't look like too many people were pissed in the high EMS destroy.

In fact, I could say they were...happy.

well ... aside from the intelligence insulting breathe scene and the forced genocide - yes.

If the Geth are dead you're only responsible for EDI.

Harvest that Reaper paste!

the fact alone that i have to buy comics and books to make sense of the lore and certain events, is a deal breaker.

they turned their "extended universe" into a core universe.

this trend alone drives me away from future bioware games.

Agreed.

I don't understand the issue some have with the plot being forwarded by a comic or book. You can't literally explain everything in game. It would completely destroy any flow and pacing. Those 2 are something people who want infinite explanation and detail (smudboy) don't understand.

If you take every Renegade option in the game, you may be brusque with your friends and brutal to your enemies; you may make hard choices that cost you friendships; you may have to go to your grave carrying the weight of crimes that would have you reviled as a monster if they ever came to light. But you are always fighting to save the galaxy, no matter what tactics you take."

What do you think, guys? Do you become the villain of Mass Effect 3 if you choose Control or Synthesis?

EDIT: Some people argue that Destroy also makes you a villain. The same goes for Refuse. So are you a villain no matter what you choose?

Justifying the Quarian children you killed as collateral damage, if you side with the geth, isn't a renegade?

lol, only on BSN can the consequences of your actions be considered "forced". if you shoot yourself in the foot, does it seem forced that you now have a painful hole? the only reason it seems forced to you isnt due to issues with the logic of the situation, it simply is because you want destroy with no negative consequences, a reunion and a 2hr dlc where you play the sims with your shep and LI

Destroy seems to be the only ending with negative consequences, how is that a logical situation?

Its a logical situation because destruction almost ALWAYS has collateral damage. Destroy was always potentially made to do bad things. No one complains that ultra low EMS destroy ignites the earths atmosphere.

Besides, EVERY ending has a negative. In control you lose your body and are forced to live forever. In synthesis you die. In refuse you sacrifice 1 trillion people to satisfy your ego.

You don't have to explain everything but as presented in game that whole conversation with Liara is a truely epic **facepalm** moment so some justification for it would have been extremely useful - hell stick it in the codex like Anderson not being on the Council anymore. That is after all what the codex is for.

Synthesis makes you worse than the Catalyst.
Control can too.

Why would a Shepard without foreknowlege sit back and let the galaxy die? It's not like using the Crucible can make things worse.

Even if you think the chance of the SC being truthful is 1%, that's a 1% better chance than derping gives you.

This is a question best addressed to BioWare. It's not us who's 'derping', it's them.

So Refuse makes sense on the evidence presented? Really? You'd prefer certain defeat to.... looking a bit silly? That's the only downside to using the Crucible if it's a fake.

At this point people are just afraid to get their hands dirtier as awful as that sounds. Shepard has already killed hundreds upon hundreds and 300,000 Batarians in Arrival.

It's just a bit bigger now. Gosh how awful.

Regardless given the alternatives I'd rather have the whole thing go BOOM.

Not everyone played Arrival Tabs.
