I honestly didn't remember who Charade was. I only did her questline once and she was nothing special. In fact, she was rather boring.
I would would rather like Charade (Gamlen's daughter) as a companion...anyone else?

Charade does seem like a good candidate for the Merrill/Isabela treatment. Nice continuity with the previous game, seems like a likeable enough character. Of course she isn't the only one, Maraas is also a favorite of mine.

I always regarded her as a prime candidate for the Merrill/Isabela treatment, she seemed like a companion in waiting. The other minor character that interested me was Athenril.Filament wrote...

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd prefer to see Lia ( The Elf girl you save in DA II that becomes a guard) more than Charade. But, I am TOTALLY down for Charade as well.

I didn't find Charade that interesting. Actually the fewer returning characters the better.... for me anyway. I'd prefer having as many new characters as I can get.

Charade would be.....okay, I guess? But if we're only allowed 1 or 2 previously established characters as party members, there's quite a few minor NPCs I'd much rather see fleshed out than her. Maraas, Terrie, Dagna and a couple others come to mind.

I found Athenril really interesting.....she was likable and had a lot of potential as a character, and it's kind of annoying that you didn't have the option to resume working for her organization later in DA2. Unfortunately, she doesn't really fit any of the archetypes for a party member, nor does she have any legitimate pretext to leave Kirkwall (unless the Coterie finally put together enough muscle to drive her from the city).
Also, there's that whole "can potentially be killed" issue.

Charade was pretty cool, I definitely would like to see more of her, she wasn't around very long so there's certainly a lot to learn, she's essentially a blank slate, but with that bit of familiarity that makes you say 'that's cool, I remember her from DA2!', kind've like Merrill was.
