Remember the normal equipment pack?

It gives too much low level garbage.

This.   I hate buying the JEP because I won't use the level one stuff that you get.

If you've been playing since the demo, there was a 20k equipment pack containing only 5 of the basic consumables (medigel, rockets etc). If you needed those, it was the best deal.

+1, but isn't that just the PSP with all the rares maxed?

PSP doesn't give enough.

PSP still contains basic cc - so reserve pack it is if your manifest is maxed. As it already costs 99k, a premium JEP would be much more expensive. I guess 150k cr/ 360 MS/BW points (2 lvl 4 amps + rest lvl 3/respec) would be afair and realistic price.

IF your manifest is maxed. And it has chances for UR's. PJEP would be straight up consumables, so 99k max.

Many don't need medigel or rockets. They need ammo and amps. High level stuff. Pure coke.

I would like this, too ;)

But EA/bioware won't give you the doubled amount of items IF members of the community already pay the same price for only half of the items.

Only the minority have maxed manifests. And they already wasted TONS of money on useless stuff. Some gear for them would only be fair. And they still pay 99k

An EP that would at the least cut out Level I consumables from the pool would be nice.

Premium equiptment pack sounds great. Also, remove the cap on respec cards and let us trade equiptment with friends.

I'd pay 99k for a pack that guarantees a level III weapon amp of the type you have the least in stock - even if that was the only item in the pack.

The store seems to give me one Shotgun Amp III per week on average...

That's true. I am sitting on so much level 1/2 junk.

Biower pls.

Beter yet, they could implement a proper store that doesn't rely on RNG, but it will not happen in this cycle.

I perfectly understand your point. Otherwise don't dismiss or underestimate EA's interests. As I said before, I like your idea (and pricetag) very much myself. I just don't think 99k for such a pack is realistic.

99k is more than you get for a Gold game. And an unselfish player uses 3 high level consumables for it. Plus rockets and medigel.

And yet you only get 5 amps (and a very small chance for UR weapon) if your rares are maxed for 99k. My idea? No. Do I think this is fair? No. It's EA's and biowares concept of exponential rising prices for higher quality. They will never sell 10 high quality amps for that price. Maybe they would sell it for 120k. But never ever for just 99k.

A UR is worth over a million if you do a math. A UR will stay with you and will not expire. Consumables last just for 1 mission. Bioware and EA doesn't lose anything.

Is it guaranteed? No. Is it possible to get it. Yes. Hence I don't simply double the 99k.

Today you pay 99 k for a product that is flawed in your opinion. It contains unwanted gels and rockets. Now you not only want the flaws removed hence replaced with more valuable items while still paying the same price, no, you want the now much more valuable amount doubled and still pay the same price. And you ask me to do the math?

You know how many times a 99k PSP was worthless to me? A LOT. It was money wasted. For basically nothing. A 99k PJEP is completely fair.

Look, you're not the only one. For my last cyclonic IV I had to pay 600k. Yes, after 10 sp finally one of the amp I was hoping for. Sadly, it's not about fairness. It's all about business. People already stated (in older threads) they would happily pay 99k for one lvl IV amp if it was guaranteed the one they're looking for. 99k for 10 high quality amps is not realistic. Sadly.

I'm done arguing with you. 9.9k for a level III amp is enough. And you don't choose what you get either.

This doesn't make sense at all. No one is realistically willing to pay 99K for a single amp, since they could never get that investment returned while actually using full amps (and if you don't use them, why are you even eager to pay for a pack with it?) even if only playing successful platinum. So to me, people stating stuff like that is merely exaggerating in order to show how annoying it is to run out of your preferred amps (or of course the minority who have a maxed manifest and tonnes of credits in surplus with nothing to use them on).

Precise pricing is of course to be discussed, but I don't think 60-99k is unrealistic for 10 lvl 3 amps (or even five lvl 3s and five lvl 2 perhaps), and that would be fine, then lvl 4 could in the PSP/AP/RP for people with mostly maxed manifests.

Also, it is not really a matter of the business model. If people are paying real money to get stuff, I think it is a pretty fair assumption that they are doing so in order to get unlocks for weapons and characters, not for amps and the packs are designed around the type of weapon/character they offer with the equipment being a secondary 'bonus' - hence the Jumbo Equipment Pack was introduced because it was needed; before it was there you could have made the same argument that you do about a potential amps pack being a lot more expensive.
