I finally got it perhaps a month ago, and I don't bother using it. A lot of people have a tendency to whine and complain about a lot of things that really aren't that big a deal, so I ignored the whinges and complaints about the Harrier's lack of ammo, and it surprised me how much it required me to change my play style... and I use the Paladin Heavy Pistol.

During the time I've been trying to unlock it, and since then, I've maxed out several Ultra-Rares that weren't even unlocked to begin with, and increased the levels of several others significantly, and it still sits at level I. Honestly, here's what I think of all of this, "oh well."

It is arguably the best AR in the multi-player side of ME3. It is not, however, something worth sacrificing a small goat for. So fret not, OP. You aren't really missing out on all that much.

I got the Cerberus Harrier I on the day that the Earth DLC was released. But the gun was released in the DLC before Earth.

Dude, just a month? It could be several before you have all the URs. Even if you're clocking credits like crazy. Just be more patient.

yah, but biower can't have any good ARs that would mess with the "balance".

To be fair about this, I think part of the reason the ARs have less DPS than other weapons would be their ease of use. When I first got started with Mass Effect, and with my last significant FPS experience being Quake Team Fortress and Counterstrike, ARs were far, far easier for me to use decently than handguns, shotguns and sniper rifles, which all need a degree of skill and patience to use well. I've improved since then, but I'm still far more comfortable using an AR than any other weapon. (The SMGs would fall into the "ease of use" category as well, but they seem to have more odd quirks.)

from just playing the game without speed runs, probably 1300 hours before i got my first harrier... my only harrier. i do have a hurricane 8, so i'm not complaining too much.

I got a Harrier shortly after it was released, but didn't bother playing with it for ages. It then took a good 3 months to get it up to level 2.

I played so far for over 420 hours and have never received it. Dont get your hopes up.

Took me about a week to get it. I seem to have been blessed. It is a great gun, but the ammo trips get really, really tedious. I press '8' a lot more often when I'm playing with the Harrier.

Can't recall what i use it on though...

In fact, I don't think there is anything I play right now that I use the harrier on...

Too bad huh, nice and shiny and I never use it.

I got mine on the first day it was released. Levelling it up to X has been a pain though. Maxed it around one month after Earth Dlc was released. I got my Typhoon to X before the Harrier btw.
