sonofa.. thought i was a blood mage the whole time!

through the dlc, i do have dark sustanence & blood grasp. are these not considered blood magic spells? are they merely just  spell like abilites?

ideally, id like to have the blood mage specialization, mainly for blood wound & control. these are what i really want.

needless to say i didnt handle the redliffe situation appropriately. 

i hear the class spec. is available in awakenings. if so, how far into the mod is it available? at the beginning, middle, or end?

is it difficult to find/ acquire?

Blood magic? It is available quite early, about an hour or two into DAA when you reach the city of Amaranthine.

No, you just buy the book from the bartender at the Crown and the Lion tavern.

There is actually a 2nd chance to get BM, in the alienage vs a bloodmage that captured some city elves as slaves, but by then the game is nearly over.
Always save as you enter the windmill in case you mess up dialoge with Jowan,
(tell him to come with you, -he refuse, then tell him to just help in some way.
and later when he appear when you talk with isolde etc, ask what he has to say about the situation,
and accept his suggestion to use blood magic to get you into fade)
and later on save before the 3rd encounter with desire demon,
say you are willing to talk, and demand some extra goodies, like for ex BM

He gives you +1 constitution, not unlocks blood magic.
