i'm surprised that in 21. century gender topic is still rising dust and reveals male and female idiots...
we have vent to space but can't handle that females can do same stuff as males...ah, well...
i have mic but never played with someone preying over me but i've heard some gender offensive lines that showed their level of education and culture. i've met nice guys in pugs that are my friends now and i play regularly with them. thanks to them, i've learned a lot. but i would like to know more women. it seems like they are hiding behind some gender indeterminate nick names. why?

Just a couple days ago a friend and I were dropped into a lobby on a different game. My friend was talking before we got dropped in, so the first thing someone heard him say was "You're not a girl." It was part of a totally unrelated conversation. A woman immediately responded, angrily, "Yes I am a girl." I joked back, "He wasn't talking about you. not everything is about you." And at that she lost her s**t and started hurling insults at us. In game she proceeded to rage loudly every time she was killed and blaming everything but her performance. Typical angry CoD kid stuff, although coming from an adult. My favorite was when said "You're using [attachment for a gun]. That's such a b***h attachment. I'm a girl and even I don't use that." I honestly don't think she realised that she was only insulting herself and her gender.

Well, I've said it before & I'll say it again...

Idiots are everywhere. Some of them are men, some of them are women. It's less men vs. women, than morons vs. non-morons.

Agreed Twinkles- idiots everywhere. 

There is a woman I had on my friends list for awhile- she was a good friend of one my good XBL friends (it is a guy) so I added her naturally after playing a few matches. Then- I heard the stories and even witnessed some of the behavior. She would rage quit matches (matches with all friends FFS! not pugs) and she was just psycho. She would yell if people would use her ammo or grenades from her pylon and yeah totally uncool. I deleted her . 

And here's a weird occurance- a few wks ago in a party with several people playing ME3 (including one person from BSN) another stranger crashed our party. As soon as he got into our party he heard me talking (the only woman). Me and my friends were having a great time laughing and joking- this JERK just starts instantly insulting me. Saying things like "Oh it's a woman- I hate women on XBL- they're all fat and they suck" and just goes on a bit about this. Of course I fell for it hook, line and all and there is steam coming out of my ears and I was apoplectic and replied "oh ok so essentially you're saying that I might not be beautiful enough for you to take seriously be worthy of playing in the same game with you ok" and he had to then reply that I was trying to sound intelligent. 

It was horrible and I don't even remember his gamertag- my friend who hosted the party fortunately is a very nice guy and booted him out and blocked him from the party but I despise confrontation and felt shaken by this persons incredibly hostile attitude.
