I've thought of a way to save this thread from disturbing mediocrity.

Are you sitting down for this completely original idea that has, in no way, been done in a similar fashion as, say, fortune cookies and/or random goat bedding?

actually girls on psn or xbox will mostly likely not talk to the men cause men more then not on consoles believe that only men should play or that women could never be good in video games thats why

when I play games like mass effect

call of duty

or any other obnoxious mp game I do not use my mic to talk unless I have been friends with that person for a good min

Actually the girls seem more sexist than the men, I've never once seen a non-troll post saying "I'm no playing with girls". It's so weird because I've never once been in a lobby where there's a girl being drooled over by the guys, I know five ME3 players who are girls (not including the couple I've met in a PUG lobby) two of which are inside Team AreleX they haven't once complained about the males on 360. Just seems fishy that you have Mrs Anomaly claiming she had men (from the Master Race no less) slobbering over her when I've never observed anything of the sort in my 600 hours of ME3 gaming.

It's mostly that women usually get spoonfed, "you're doing great" when they are terrible by creepers so they have no incentive to try to get better. "No It's fine, take this item I've been waiting for months to get" "You were doing great *bottom of the chart*". More fault goes on treating girl gamers like a potential hook-up every girl voice on a mic. Granted I've come across many good girl gamers, who barely use mics so creeps don't jump at it. so I'm not doubting skill of girl gamers. it's just getting spoonfed lies and logic reduces incentive to learn and develop good habits. /rant

I experienced one girl in my hours of pubbing, who used a mic.
1st she made some comment about a guy we tried to kick, who used a bad setup.

I've actually met most of them via the forums as well. Otherwise, the majority of the others on my friends list were met via mutual friends, as in join a buddy's room and hear her on the mic, then have that, "Oh, you're a chick, too? Cool, add me!" moment.

I have literally only run across one other woman while PUGing, and that was ages ago.
