I know there are probably a ton of these, but I was sitting here thinking about the possibility of a new game, not neccessarily a Mass Effect 4, but something in the same universe.
I was thinking about how TIM said something about how Cerberus was an idea, not just an organization, and that stuck a chord: It could be a sequal that happens decades or even centuries after the end of ME3, where Cerberus has been restarted and have started kidnapping or just killing important non-humans and humans who support non-humans.
The protagonist doesn't even have to be human, you could pick any race you want, sort of like Skyrim, and people will react to you by your race: People who are racist against aliens could dislike you if you're an alien, and vice versa. And instead of just picking bonus powers, you could pick the class, and then pick your powers based on the class. Ex: You pick Adept, so you get a list of biotic powers, Engineer: tech powers, and so on with the other classes.
I doubt it would ever happen, but it seems like an interesting and workable idea, it could even be a trilogy or just a standalone game.

I honestly feel the Cerberus arc is done for better or for worse. To me, the whole point or theme of the game has been about the the dangers of ambition without limits. Cerberus is the embodiment of this theme and I think TIM pointing out that they are this "idea" supports this. The theme is finished and I feel like they need to move on to different ones for ME4 or else they become stale.

Sure, I'd love to read it.
My thought process was more along the lines of making it a different game where Shepard isn't the main focus, but it's still recognizably Mass Effect. Now that I think about it Cerberus does seem a little overdone anyway, since it was in every game, even if it wasn't the antagonist in ME2.
There is a possibility they could bring in a completely new enemy, maybe something from a closed-up Relay that they don't know what's beyond, or maybe something from a completely different galaxy, a second First Contact War, but the 'first contact' being with something not from our galaxy.
