I thought it could be fun to have us Mass Effect fans to write the ending for Mass Effect 3. This would be in the form of fan fiction, where YOUR Shepard stars, if you wish. It isn't an attempt at explaining the current endings, and you can put out alternative theories if you wish (such as the Indoctrination Theory), as long as you do it in fan fiction form.

This is supposed to be all fun, so please no bashing the fellow writers (nor BioWare's!)

If anyone is interested here are the guidelines:

1. You can rewrite the ending from the Cerberus base mission onward, not before, but you can rewrite it entirely, nothing has to stay the way it is now, but you are also free to change only some parts

2. The ending can refer to any choice, for example, if your Shepard killed either the Geth or the Quarians, the ending may reflect that if you wish, same thing if you killed other characters

3. The ending needs to answer plot questions, try your best not to leave plot holes and consider the first 2 games, making sure readers find the reasons in your ending why things have gone the way they have

4. You can add parts, for example if there was a part of the story line in the game you'd like to see expanded (Rachni Queen is an example) feel free to throw something about it

5. To accomodate point 4, there is no limit to the chapters for your fan fiction

6. The fan fiction can be in written or comic/illustrated form.

If anyone wants to participate, link your story here. You can post on websites like fanfiction.net or the like and then link. I think it would be unpractical to post the entire ending in this thread.

So what do you say people, any of you would like to participate? There is no time limit for the moment, but depending on the engagement I might pose one later on.

We could even have people vote for the best fan fiction.

Have fun!
