Which is the bigger DPS monster with the Harrier? the GI or the Turian Ghost Infiltrator?

I think we're counting out external factors here such as damage boost from the proxi mine and what ever stim pack is se up to. Otherwise you have to calculate the much higher risk of being killed on a GI than a TGI which would lead to a significant drop in damage output. As i mentioned before: Dead DPS = 0 DPS - both from you and the guy that has to come to the rescue.

Doesn't look like it.

Assuming you spec hunter mode for 17.5% damage, add proxy mine, etc, which will kill faster with a Harrier?

I'll rephrase that to being "counting in external factors, such as proxi mine on the GI, it would make sense to factor in the much higher...".

I understand your point.  The linked spreadsheet can give you the theoretical answer under ideal conditions.  The problem is you rarely get those in game.

Actually! I just noticed something, so I'm bumping this thread.

TGI Fitness Rank 6a gives a 30% weapon damage boost for 20 seconds if an enemy is killed with a heavy melee. The GI's respective Fitness gives a POWER damage bonus, not weapon. Using my calculations from before:

So the TGI comes out to: 1187 x 192.6% = 3473.162 DPS
The Geth? 1365.05 x 144% = 3330.722 DPS

So really, the TGI wins after all. Only by a narrow margin (and under some rather inconvenient circumstances), but he wins nevertheless.

Until the Geth shoots a Proxy MIne and does 20% more damage...

That was already factored in.

Then you did something wrong.  Check the link I posted above with the spreadsheet and put you builds in there.  His formula's are correct.

GI. But TGI is easily the toughest and most survivable anything in the game. Screw up with the GI you're dead.

Fix'd. Until we get a Krogan Sentinel with Defense Matrix, Barrier, and Tech Armor, that is.

My Volus Van-god begs to differ.

Never figured out how to use it.

All I know is:

Turian Infiltrator:
+30% additive from passive
+80% additive from Cloak
+20% multiplicative from Cloak evo 6 (assault rifles only)
+12.5% additive from Stimulant Pack
+8% additive/multiplicative (need confirmation) from Stimulant Pack evo 5
+30% additive from melee bonus

vs the Geth Infiltrator:
+22.5% additive from passive
+10% additive from passive (Geth weapons only--Harrier is not one)
+80% additive from Cloak
+25% multiplicative from Cloak (sniper rifles only--Harrier is not one)
+17.5% additive from Hunter Mode
+30% additive from melee bonus--Harrier is not a power
+20% (confirmed as multiplicative) from Proximity Mine evo 3
and a 15% bonus to his Rate of Fire.

A Harrier X does 1187 DPS on its own. A 15% RoF bonus would bump that up to 1365.05 DPS.

So it's basically, the TGI's bonuses x 1187, and the GI's bonuses x 1365.05.

TGI DPS (unconfirmed = additive): 3824.514
TGI DPS (unconfirmed = multiplicative): 3957.9328
GI DPS (unconfirmed = additive): 3276.12
GI DPS (unconfirmed = multiplicative):  3603.732

If I did any of my math wrong (which wouldn't surprise me, given this data is inconsistent with my other math), feel free to correct me, but if I'm right, then the TGI is just a little better.

Proxy mine is multiplicative

Also, this is without gear or mods to your Harrier, I guess.  I'm not sure what that illustrates.

I also discounted mods, seeing as how both parties could use said mods (I know both parties also have Cloak, but... oh well)

And thanks for the confirmation. I'll edit that.

Before the 20% boost to assault rifles specifically, the TGI does 271.95 per bullet with a Harrier X, so it's 326.34 with that boost. If you add on stim packs, it's 298.5 without the 20% bonus and 358.2 with the 20% bonus.

The GI, before the 20% boost to damage from proximity mine, does 284.9 damage per shot with the Harrier X. With proximity mine's 20% boost, this becomes 341.88 per shot. With the 15% rate of fire boost, this is actually better damage per second than the TGI boosted by stimulant packs and his TC.

A few caveats: proximity mine might misfire at times. The TGI's 20% boost also lasts beyond the 1.5 to 2.5 seconds of boosted damage, instead lasting for 10 seconds on its own. Firing proximity mine from the GI is likely to decrease the amount of time for continuous Harrier firing, but it also has a 20% boost that lasts beyond the TC damage boost window. To reach its bizarre levels of damage output, you also don't need to visit grenade boxes every 10 seconds.

The GI can out-DPS a TGI so long as proximity mine is active. The TGI doesn't even get close unless the stimpacks or whatever are activated constantly.
