You can import Steam Origins data to DA2, right?

I would think so. I cannot say for sure as I have DAO and DA2 through Origin. However, my ME1 and 2 copies are through Steam and those saves imported into ME3 without any trouble.
The location of your save game files should be in the same spot regardless of which platform you are using to launch the game.

I didn't know if the DA2 save importing would work the same way as ME3's, since DA2 is older.

Apologies for the late response, I went to bed after I responded. While you are correct about DA2 being a year older I still believe it would work. Bioware game saves are all stored in the same place regardless of platform. This means that whether its Steam or Origin, all of your saves will be in "users/name/documents/bioware/dragonage".
Also I'm pretty sure neither DAO nor DA2 need Origin or Steam to launch. Those platforms make it easier to organize and find your games, but DAO and DA2 can be played without using either one. So I'm about 95% sure your import would work. If not, well its not as much fun but I do believe there are save editors out there that will let you adjust the variables for an import without actually importing.
