Don´t see the problem. IIRC it´s not the first time that I saw "Returned person can´t remember anything after death" used in media. Probably more acceptable than people trying to describe it or so. Slap on some headcanon of "The Lord clouded the memories of Shepard when he sent him back" or so. I don´t know much about how fundamental christians think, but wouldn´t Shepard coming back from the dead, without divine intervention, be a bigger issue than that?

And well, all the other stuff.

You mean on the ship? I agree.

On missions she does have some good dialogue depending on your playthrough. If you take her on the Rachni mission, she will have a couple of lines of dialogue, but if you take her on the mission to rescue the turians she will have more dialogue. I'm sure you know she add's dialogue during the turian bomb mission.

If you didn't know. Doing the bomb mission after Rannoch, she will be heard talking with Tali over the intercom

Spoiler

Another is if she is taken on Priority Earth without James, she will have a lot of dialogue. If James is taken with her, he will have all the dialogue.

Yeah, I was talking about the ship. "Good to see you."
For the most part I try to do the sidequests first because I never looked up which ones were time-dependent.

As an atheist, I really wouldn't mind this being in there.  But it feels incomplete to me.

There should have been a slide after the last slide that had Shepard saying "We'll bang, okay?"

Shouldn't be a shock it was cut. It's basically Bioware saying there is no afterlife and all religion is bunk. Not a smart marketing move, especially in this day and age when PC is everything and I don't mean personal computer.

Funny how people are supposed to be tolerant of atheists, but being intolerant of religion is okay.

It's sort of messed up they removed it, since Ash's religion was a pretty big deal in ME1, and there was nothing controversial about the scene. All they needed to do was to be sure a dialogue option existed to say you didn't believe that/don't agree (a forced pro religious response would be silly) and problem solved, if you don't agree with her just say so and move on.

Poor Ash lost so much content in 3, - at least some of it got fixed with mods but... Still.

sigh~

Pity they removed this, it looks quite promising. It would have been interesting for Shep to have an opinion about religion. It would have made every Shep more unique imo.

No, it's good if Ashley stays in character. I'm saying that as an atheist. The only point I have is, it shouldn't run on autopilot. You should have some choice on how your character responses. Like after Mordin sacrifices himself. And it's a pity, you only see the paragon/renegade choice of your response there either. Without knowing what you actually gonna say. Turns out paragon is rather leaning to the religious side, while renegade keeps things open. It says more about how the game is designed than your actual choices.

It is not a deleted scene. It is a fanfic.

That being said their original scene is good too.

Ashley: Everything's ready, Shepard.
Shepard: What about you? Are you ready?
Ashley: Let's get it done and go home.
Shepard: We're not getting off that easy, Ash.
Ashley: No? We looking at a rough ride?
Shepard: Ash... I get what you're trying to do.
Ashley: Hey, no brushing me off. Talk to me. What's going on?
Shepard: It just catches up with me sometimes.
Ashley: I understand. Man, do I ever.
Ashley: You know, I was lost without you, Shepard. When I thought you were dead, it broke my heart.
Ashley: And then you found your way back. It was a miracle. Screw the science--it was a damned miracle, Shepard.
Shepard: Ash...
Ashley: Shut up. It's a damn miracle.
Shepard: I couldn't do this without you, Ashley.
Shepard: When I first met you back on Eden Prime, I saw a woman who never gave up.
Shepard: You lost your company, expected no help, and there you were, fighting an invasion single-handed.
Ashley: You don't need to say anything, Shepard.
Shepard: No, I do.
Shepard: When I first saw you back on Eden Prime, I didn't know my life would change.
Shepard: Maybe I was scared to admit that I'd found something I had been looking for my whole life.
Shepard: I'm sane enough to know when I've stumbled across a good thing.

The lines are real.  They were in the leaked script.  The pics themselves are not real, though,  It's just scenes from the game with the lines added in as subtitles.

This is the leaked script or technically, mostly outlines. No Ashley romance deleted dialogues here.

The idea of the scene might have been initially thought up but I'm not easily convinced with the source. Had the redditor use actual dialogues from the writers, it would be shorter and written in the same style like it was meant for the VOs.
