I've seen a couple pictures now of Ashley wearing the default Alliance outfit the most people use, including Kaidan for casual wear.

Is there a tutorial on how to get this into the game? I cannot stand her latex 'battle dress' or whatever you want to call it, and would much rather see her wearing the standard alliance blues.

In addition, I've seen her with her hair back ala ME1/2 and was wondering how you could change that as well.

Nobody has any idea? I'd be interested in an answer to this question too -- in particular, I think Liara's new Alternate Appearance pack outfit suits her better as a default outfit than her white outfit does.

I'm interested in doing this too, I'd like Tali to be wearing the purple and yellow suit by default.

Count me in as interested. I'd love to be able to make my squaddies wear what I prefer while they're on the Normandy.

I've looked into this, for the specific Ashley case. The mesh had to be changed for her, as well as the textures. However, there are severe lighting bugs that make the end result unplayable for now. You can see screenshots and more information on what has to be done on the ME3explorer forums. It can be done, but the lighting bugs need to be fixed. And unfortunately, it's not an easy task to do so....

Yipes. You've gotta edit the actual mesh? Good grief. It'd be so much easier if there were just some way to rename meshes and insert them into things. Urgh. This game is so much harder to mod than, say, the Dragon Age games. Boo.

No, not edit. I just had to replace the mesh, since Ashley uses a different mesh in that stupid outfit vs alliance blues. So, I just took the normal female alliance blues mesh and replaced it.

Regardless though, it is a pain and extremely frustrating since this can be done, but I'm not sure anybody that has the smarts to actually figure out these lighting bugs will even be interested in this specific case... or others for that matter.

:crying:

I'm also very interested in this! As I specified over on this thead, I'd idealy prefer to use the outfit in the image below; since I see it as the one for Marines.
