I'm not sure what the problem is but mine is incredibly glitchy and buggy. I've been stuck at the first
meeting about Saren because my game keeps crashing. This will the be the
4th time! First two I accidentally talked to party members while I was
running around doing the keeper assignment, 3rd time I pulled out my gun
by mistake and, while trying to put it away, told my squad to form up. The 4th
time it crashes again. Just by walking down the stairs away from the
council, nothing more, it crashes.More specifically it freezes, but it requires me to turn off my Playstation. I'm not sure what the problem is.

I've tried turning off the autosave like others have suggested but not one minute later walking around the games freezes again, for the 5th time. I have made no progress in this, and it's such a shame because I love this game and would really like to be able to play it on the Playstation.

If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated, I had no idea where to put this thread on the forums.

Yeah I've had a lot of issue's also but I have the PSN version of ME1. The only thing that I can recommend would be to try and do system update. I had an issue like yours except it was right after I beat the game it would freeze on me right before the final decision in the game. I did a system update and I was finally able to finish the game.

Actually there's nowhere to put it on these forums. Official tech support has always been at BioWare Game Support and the powers that be closed the player sel help tech support areas of the forums 2-3 months back, no idea why. Since then the latter has moved to answers.ea.com. You're more likely to get a solution via one or both of those.

It is happen with me too. When I fight against Saren/ Sovereign, in a moment it freeze. I did the update system, but it don't resolved. May anyone help me, please?

When Bioware shut down the Tech Discussion forums, where your complaint might have belonged two months ago, the members with an interest in Tech left. The moderators might not CARE whether you are off topic, but the fact is this sort of thing has no forum here on the Social Site.

Same here. ME1 seems to freeze a lot. The only thing I can do is to save frequently whenever possible to avoid restarting a huge portion of a mission (the game doesn't auto save a lot so it's a good idea to save whenever you can in case of freezing or dying by a horde of enemies).

My game's having framerate drops and crashing a lot too.
