Granted, opinions vary.  Some really like these mindless blitzkrieg immune to nearly everything units who just charge without any regard to anything you do to them because they 'speed up the pace of the game', but frankly, I really cannot stand these units.

Every single other unit in the game seems to have a nice strategy you can employ to consistently beat them (that isn't heavily biased towards 'only DPS'), but Dragoons seem to favor the 'dish out more DPS' strategy with their antics.  The way they constantly keep you under pressure and mindless charge forces you to deal with them first, and they essentially put a time limit on how long you can ignore them of about .02 seconds.

Now, granted, opinions vary.  You may like Dragoons.  I'm not looking to start a debate on how cool or dumb Dragoons are.  I'm just stating my personal opinion.  I absolutely hate these units, and I preferred the way Cerberus/Platinum played before their introduction.

Some people like the pressure they put on you, I can understand that.  That's just not how I would like the game to play out.  I can't seem to get into enjoying the 'hey, look how suicidal this unit is that can't be held who is constantly charging at me not allowing me to ever take cover and continuously fires with perfect accuracy a ranged DPS weapon until he attempts to stunlock me from melee range with three of his buddies'.  It's not that I don't enjoy a challenge.  I love platinum.  And it's not that I cannot beat Dragoons, I do so, consistently.  But I do find generally the most frustrating moments I have in multiplayer come from the design choices of these units.  Anyways, just voicing my 2 cents.  I know you probably an opinion entirely of your own, and I respect that.

I realize that I will always use at least one medi-gel doing a Cerb/Plat solo when I see the group of 3 Dragoons. You can't out run them once they start shooting in a group.

That being said, all of my recent solos have been ruined by Phantoms stabbing me in the back.

Shooting them in the head when they run across the field with a rifle or with a talon up close helps with their annoyance levels quite a bit.

I've been running a Krogan Soldier lately, so when I come up against Cerberus, I know I'm going to have a little fun throwing down an inferno grenade at my feet when they jump charge and hitting them with carnage for a little fire explosion action.  That'll teach them to get all up in my face. heh

The only thing I feel the Dragoons need is a speed nerf. A heavily armored unit should not be capable of keeping pace with me as I run around the map trying to kite the bastards. I can run laps around Giant and still not be able to outpace them suckers.

I don't really mind them but my little brother despises them with a passion.

I find Bombers and Dragoons almost as annoying as Hunters and Primes. I play a lot more Batarian Soldier and Brawler these days so I can rightfully take my annoyance out upon Dragoons and Hunters alike.

I agree with the previous poster about them having a speed nerf. They run as fast (or faster) then Geth Hunters but they don't take cover so they get to you in a rediculously short time.

They're fine.
Without them cerberus would be boring.

And This ...

An enemy that can't be outrun doesn't fit with the rest of ME3 MP.

I hate how effectively they blend in amongst my teammates. As long as there's one human in my team, it'll always take me at least 2 seconds to realize that it's a Dragoon that I'm looking at.

And since Dragoons can run the 100m dash in those 2 seconds and melee me twice, it can become quite a predicament.

I'm not sick of them quite yet. I really don't care for the unit but, the RNG gods gives me collectors and geth a whole lot. So much so that I have completed the geth and collector challenges 3 times and only done cerbs and reapers once. I probably hate swarms more than dragoons though dragoons are really annoying unless I'm playing a melee character.

I just wish they made more noise. It's the silence that's deadly.

1. They're way too quiet.
2. They have no business being Olympic long-jumpers.

Not sure why they couldn't just find a way to make Guardians be the flush-you-out-of-cover enemy since that always felt like their intended purpose and just invented some other bonus Cerberus unit that is actually entertaining to fight.

Wouldn't mind if they got a speed nerf but a major health buff

This.  Also I really hate Dragoons.  That you can kill them does little to soothe my fury.

They're not that bad. The only time that I have trouble with them is if I'm soloing and I get 4 devices because with every other faction I just kite the enemies and not a problem.
