First I'm kind of new around here, so please do a girl a favor and be gentle (that sounds way more dirty then I intended;)). Anyway, ME3 been out since March and it seems like multiplayer is still going strong ( correct me if I'm wrong). So why do you still play, what draws you to it and away from other games?

There's too many classes for me to not find something to enjoy. That, and I can't afford to go drinking with my buddies very often.

"Will you be playing less MP now that you've maxed your manifest?"
"I dunno, max 255 consumables is a goal."

anyway, still fun, not yet bored.

Couldn't afford any new games for a long assed time so I pumped alot of hours into MP and with the new challenges lately this gives me more reason to stick around. Every game is different, still fun and challenging and met lots of great people playing MP also.

I'm a girl too, and I do girl favors such as being gentle ;) (that sounds more dirty then I intended!).

But... well I play ME3 MP because I like it basically, it has improved (in my opinion) since its vanilla entry when ME3 was just released. Since then there's been new weapons, characters and maps, so it has more and good content. There's also the fact that I prefer ME3's MP over the single-player campaign, which I completed only one time so far (that was about nine months ago).

I'm currently having a lot of fun with specific classes such as the Turian Sentinel which I use for sniping (like a mobile Turian turret) and surprisingly I'm starting to really like the Batarian Soldier with the ballistic blades, and also the Geth Engineer with the support turret (regen shields) and the hunter mode that I used to hate but I'm now starting to get used to (still think however that the hunter mode overlay is perhaps too distracting).

Anyway yeah I think it's fun overall. I don't play many other online shooters though, ME3 MP is one of three shooters I play online, the others are RPGs and I don't play them much lately.

I like using the quarians. Those suit rats are fun to play.
COD doesnt draw me in like It used to.
would have left for halo but that game requires 8gb of space. rip off. D:<

Also, it keeps me busy while I wait for more sp dlc.

I'd go with that.

Also, ME is my favorite "universe" and MP gameplay(when not glitching out) is still very fun even after 800 hours.

So do you think the people playing Mass Effect are superior to ones that don't (evil question, I know:devil:)?

That's the perfect way of summing it up! Hmm, now it sounds a little too dangerous to continue. :?

Because for whatever reason I still play the single-player, and it's much easier to RP when the game is telling you that you have 100% readiness.

Also because Datapad is utter garbage and barely works.

I guess it helps that I have power trips while mowing Collectors down as the N7 Destroyer with the Typhoon.

Nooo! I can't be responsible for the demise of multiplayer! So it's expensive and non-habit forming; perfectly safe:police:

Oh, you're a girl. Prepare for your thread to be derailed. Also, this guy named Ashen Earth may show up; if he does, don't listen to him, just smile and nod.

On topic, I have no idea why I play. Maybe it's the type of game. Maybe it's the extensive lore. But it's probably the addictive nature of RNG and challenges.

Power trips. Good reason, also great stress reliever:devil:

Why do I still play? Because the gameplay is still fun to me, I really like the combat system, even with all its peculiarities and bugs (but which MP game doesn't have those?). I've also met a fair few cool players over the months so I'm rarely short on friends to play with, makes it much more fun than bothering with pugs.
The challenges have also been a nice incentive to play and diversify my playstyle; I'm definitely not going to abandon MP before completing them all, not when I'm only Outsider Mastery away from BotB :P

I love the MP, sad it's better than the SP at this point, at least for me.

I like the co-op, if I want to PvP I can play Halo, or Battlefield. But what I really like is the ability to play different species with challenging kit set-ups and combos I would have never known before.

Before MP, I only played Adept... loved it, was good at it. I started playing the MP and I was like "hey, let's try Engineer or Infiltrator". And BAM, I fell in love with them.

To me, the MP is basic in a nice set-up, and I discovered new ways to play ME3, even ME2, and give me a reason to touch other classes without having to start new SPs and what-not. I only wish ore guns are added into MP, and powers be added to SP. MP was a good call for ME3, can't wait for ME4's MP if there will be any.

Friends are great but PuGs are fun too.

Someone vented the reactor core while I was disabling a device inside.
This game never gets old. =))

I have loved mass effect since the first one all those years ago. And the chance to continiue playing challenging content after the story is so amazing. The different classes/species and the varriety of the weapons and mods. So many combinations to try out!

Anyone who wanna play xbox live with me is free to add: Maximanimo
