Two people arguing over the headsets in game can be funny though. Especially when they react using there characters. Though Mass Effect isn't really set up to enhance that much ether.

Oh man, I played two platinum games with a friend and a stranger... and this dude has an N7 rank of over 6000. Higher than mine, and he was drooling over me all game long. Kept asking my advice on things. It wasn't flattery, it was outright disturbing. And he kept asking me questions about things I had on my Xbox profile, meaning he was stalking me. Then he friend requested me and asked me, six times, if I'd be down to play more tomorrow. Little does he know that when he confessed that he missile glitched with a friend to get his N7 rank up... I'm gonna be reporting his ass. And I hope he gets banned. Besides being a creep, he was ungodly annoying.

Honestly, I think I prefer hate messages more than this ****.

hate messages you can ignore...stuff like this makes you uncomfortable..
 
there have been randoms that ive friend accepted that i just couldnt stand because they would bug all the time.. like one dude would jump in a party and stay there even when we had a full team goin.. that guy confessed he was apart of missle glitching.
he would also ask me aloooot of questions.

another was a leecher... would purposely make his character spin in circle to not get booted so he could go eat... wtf man.. i let is slide the first two times because it was in the middle of a match and i figured it was an "emergency" but the third time we just started the match and he left.. he came back wave 10.

there also was a guy that left his mic on, would jump in the party without an invite. and he would make all sorts of weird noises... like it sounded like if you zip your zipper up and down really fast..

one guy who thought that making the lobby bronze...then switching the game to gold without telling anybody was a good idea.

a guy that had "emotional" problems....kept calling himself a loser when i wouldnt play with him.

there was a girl that i used to play with... but the majority of my friends couldnt stand the other friends she had following her all the time.. one of them was drunk or something.. and i had to talk to him.. or else he would get mad and rejoin the ****ing party if i left. he wasnt even playing mass effect.. he was playing CoD and wanted me to join CoD even tho i dont even have the game  (from this i learned to never accept friend requests on the spot)

*sigh* i went on a rampage and deleted quite a few people from my firends list.. deleting people i didnt want to delete in the process.

Somebody got mad at me for taking perma cover as a demolisher and shot at me for the first few waves on gold. I ended up scoring higher then everybody in the team. The guy stopped messing with me after he realized I can hit from any range on the map and chuck grenades all day without moving and just do insane damage.

Surprisingly I have never got hate mail. I just get friend requests and nice messages from PUGs. I don't always accept them because I don't usually accept just random people from xboxlive. I have been raged at repeatedly for kill stealing by some. And not getting in the hack circle while kitting a pair of banshees round the map.

Oh and for laughing my arse off for 2 waves over the mic. I got sworn at a lot for that.
Random 1: "are you coming out this weekend mate?"
Random 2: "nah I got community service"
Random1 : "what happened?"

Oh, if only I could construe my brain to think of all the incidents of annoyance/stupidity/lunancy. There have been many. I guess that's why I'm fond of Xbox. The people are very eccentric. Like me, so that's a good thing, but there's a limit.

I'll tell you, I ****ing hate people who join your party and talk about random nonsense while they're playing a different game. It's fine if you're doing something by yourself and want some entertainment, but when you're playing with friends, and you're trying to communicate with each other, and that d-bag is talking over you... well, then it just becomes a huge nuisance. Not fond of people who just jump into people's parties without invitation or asking either though. Especially when you're already in a game. People can clearly see "User is in multiplayer mode" on the same screen as when they join someone's party.

I'll think of a more comprehensive rant later after I get some sleep, but I hear you on a lot of those instances. I lose a lot of friends due to their emotional problems. It's fine if someone you have known and played with for a long time is going through a hard time. You'll care to listen and try and help that person out. But some random that goes on and on about how depressed they are with life, and how they wish they had friends... well, whining about it in a game ain't helping. That's what alcohol is for. Get drunk, attempt sex with fire hydrants, film it, and upload it to youtube. People love that ****. Not that I would know...

I used to be really patient with people, but now I find myself being a lot more volatile to people that ****** me off. I have more hilarious voice chat experiences than hate mail.

Speaking of hate mail, got one from some brit, but I can't access Xbox.com so it'll have to wait. I wish people would send me more now. I need to step my text hate game up. But it just feels less personal...

Once received about 4 messages from a girl mid game telling me she hates players like me and how she wishes I was dead, while she just stayed in a corner and did nothing the whole game. I think I was using a slayer at the time (not a BS spammer).

I responded to her messages with "Fail!", and kept trolling her with that as she got more and more agitated and racist. Good times.

I wouldn't call that hate mail. I'm not saying he was right but did you think that maybe in the match you played with him, you weren't helping out much? In which case he was probably just surprised that someone who was supposed to be good wasn't a team player.

Don't agree with the language necessarily, because I guess that is what makes it a bit more of a "hate-mail" but he was probably just calling you out for being an awful team player.
