Best I ever got wasn't quite "hate mail". It was when the game first started, and I was using a lvl.9 Human Sentinel on Gold. My whole team died in a fail pile on Wave 10 (hack) before the objective was over. Somehow, I solo'd the rest of the round-- but it took forever. They were sending me messages (that I couldn't read, since, you know, I was trying not to die) telling me to just die. Just die. Just die or I'm getting kicked. Die mother****er Jesus Christ. That kinda thing.

Finally solo'd the round, we extracted, then I was kicked immediately following the match while I was reading their messages.

I got 'go suck a black ****' on a gold match because I played with 3 randoms who got angry that their friend wasn't matched with them and I refused to backout. They were the nerdy kind of guys you see in the beginning of the leeroy jenkins video and were doing the whole strategy thing (all were under 200 N7 points). Apparently this was their first gold match. They must have been really new since they missed the option to kick me entirely. Anyway I go in and they're all whining at me to stick to their plan (Reapers on Giant Hazard). I just lol'd and trolled them with kill steals and came to a point where I was pretty much carrying the game. They threatened to report me and I just kept hammering away laughing. One of the kids noticed the spot I was camping to get kills and figures he'll start using it too. So I let him have it and move to my B spot. He gets killed almost immediately and demands that I save him. The other two were already down. I just let him die, then cleaned up the game my self. For the final objective it was retrieve the object (I got both) and for the second, I just waited until there was 0:03 seconds left to score it. That's when I got the message from one of the kids who died.

For the extraction, the kids all rushed the landing zone (which of course drew all the enemies, which cut them to shreds). I was sitting there laughing the whole time as they screamed at me to revive them, and right when the shuttle came as one last FU, I left the extraction zone and they went livid.

I swear these kids took it so seriously. Anyway, as they were screaming at me, I backed out and reported them for harrassment on XBL and gave them the message one of them sent me.

I got a message on my MSN account from XBL thanking me later, telling me the players had been dealt with.

Oh, Xbox is the place to be! Only there will you get that sort of entertainment.

Only once. I hot join into a FGCP. The landing zone is literally swarmed with everything and the three players are already dead in this area. I run but am swiftly executed after about 5 seconds and decide its pointless to gel. I get this:

I particularly like how they apparently expected you to stop playing as the only living player to check the messages too. LOL yeah...people do silly things.

I don't know if I was actually playing ME3, but I got two messages in a row and the kid was furious for some reason. They were voice mail, and after the rage about kill steals, failed abortions, and my mom, I sent the obligatory "u mad bro?" and blocked and reported him. It was pretty funny, too bad I don't remember it that well.
