I was prepared to pick up me3 for the PC as I still have my old ME1 and 2 save games on my PC.
I wanted to get the definitive ME experience
But now that ME1 came for PS3 I'm not sure ill ever get ME3 for the PC as much as I'd like to try it out on the PC

Keep in mind that if you are playing with Sirian, Stardusk and the like that your sample group consists of many of the much higher-end PC players, in terms of both skill and general maturity.

That being said, I have rarely come across a PUG player I had a problem with. Those that had a Mic that did not have a full understanding of some mechanic or another were eager to learn, and I have yet to come across one overcussing child (Been playing since launch).
Incompetent PUG's are either eager to learn, or dead silent. No crappy loudmouths that I remember.

That’s a nice change from the PUGs I’m used to on XBL. I recently played a gold match where I came in on the 4th wave with my Drell Assassin, outscored the rest of the team by the end of Wave 8, and was criticized by 1 of the other players (who was in a corner of Giant camping an ammo box with his friend the entire game) for not knowing how to play, and for not camping with them. They both also refused to revive myself or the other player
(I think I died twice).

 

I’m not a big fan of playing on the PC anymore (just isn’t my cup of tea like it used to be), but I would certainly be happy to play with less juvenile, obnoxious players. The accessibility of XBL makes it much more likely that you’ll run into idiots, and sadly I don’t have any of the big BSN Xbox players on my friends list.

Also, players on Pc, in my experience, are far better than the ones on console. Exceptions may be considered.

That's the genius of PC gaming. We created a cesspool of vice and villiany to dump the worst so that the rest of gaming communities are, on average, more friendly.

I got started with me3 on my roommates Xbox and sank 250 hours into MP. He moved out of state last summer and I don't want an Xbox and I started over on PC last week.

I much prefer PC controls but the spacebar use irritates me. Haven't met anybody who talks but I'm still in bronze/silver working on mods and mattock/phalanx.

An empty manifest is sad. But I unlocked the N7 fury who is so so so much fun.

Mmm interesting discussion. Caratinoid and Caingheis ? What are u r sys specs to get those frame rates? I thought you couldn't get higher than the Hz rating of the monitor ? ID be interested in your comments. And Caratinoid I did finally rid myself of those connection issues.

Not really, even relatively inexpensive hardware will allow you to play pretty much anything. Having to spend thousands to play video games is completely unnecessary.

I completely agree, and even more so, if you go for the desktop option. I've never been fond of gaming laptops, so for the same budget, i got me a regular laptop and upgrades to the desktop that i was buying anyway due to work.

Ah well, once you go and edit the .ini-file to disable a stupid 'feature' like mouse smoothing, and go rebind your 'Action'-key to two or three different keys, you'll notice a whole new world opening up for you.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but PC's allow point and click to aim and fire? The headshot accuracy must be worlds better than on an XBOX, right? 

Having been said, that would make the PC easier to play vs being better to play on.

Visualy, I would think the higher quality television would mor heavily impact your picture quality. I saw Kane and Lynch look Godly on my friends 3D Samsung....

XBOX is a challenge, no doubt. You will feel every bump in the road, but that is what adds to the experience.

To each his own, but I'll stick to using my PC for sending emails and web browsing.  Enjoy!

I'm 33 and on the box - and I'm actually fine with having the "option" of not using the mic when my 8 week old son is sleeping next to me - or to use it when playing with friends - I don't see how that would differ on the PC.

You say there are "several reasons" for PC being better, yet the only things you mention are FPS and a mature community.....
There are plenty adults to play with on any platform - but hey, if you like the PC better, more power to ya - I just don't quite agree with the arguments for it in this particular post.

gonna have to say I agree with this.  most of the people I play with on xbox are in their early 30s, like myself (yes I'm admitting it).  Not only that but a lot of old friend own the game on the box and occasionally will log on for a game once in a blue moon.

I have never met anyone who speaks on the PC.  you were fortunate enough to find some great ppl to play with.

Keys are still hard for me to get used to but I know I could figure it out.  I know there's a post somewhere on how to fix the spacebar does everything button which would be really nice.
